I’ve got a young Archie in my family, but his full name is Archer, rather than Archibald.
I don’t mind Ernest, it’s a okay name, just hope he’s not known as Little Ern all his life.

Casdon Archer is a fab name, unusual and striking.
I think it’s great to have a name that can be a ‘proper’ name but can be shortened.
Elizabeth is a favourite of mine as there are so many different diminutives to choose from

I’m a fan of Elizabeth for the same reason FannyC, Beth, Liz, Lizzie, Betty. Betsy - my grannie Elizabeth became Cissie
