Good Morning Everyone,
Its dry and bright here in brackley and still with that easterly wind .
Today a early bus to Bicester ,as I have two things to do on return home , the first get an appointment time when I have to be at the Churchill on Monday, and the second is my annual eye check at opticians .
Then relax later .
Take Care,
Mick

Good morning all from Polmont where it's currently 11° and cloudy. Yesterday the haar didn't lift at all so it remained chilly.
Yesterday I did very little as I wasn't feeling well. It's a summer cold and will disappear in its own time, however it is making me feel a bit miserable.
Today will be a rerun of yesterday. Have a good day all

Good morning everyone from a bright and sunny 🌞Northampton, a warm day forecast, but still that wretched wind. I have my usual shopping trip this morning, then will probably sit and read in the garden this afternoon.

Enjoy your holidays, Nannyjan and Oops. Happy memories of Cyprus where we lived for three years, and where my DD was born in the military hospital at Akrotiri. Sunny days, mezze in tavernas, and sailing are the abiding memories.

Have a lovely day everyone.

Good morning from a chilly NE, the heating has come on again, in fact it was on most of yesterday.
Sitting reading yesterday I had to put a pair of sports socks on to keep my feet warm and a thick cardigan.
Today I am going out to lunch in Durham with my friend, it is to celebrate my birthday which was a month ago but too busy then.
I must send a message to my sister, it is three years today since her DH died.
Lovely to hear about holidays.
Mick 😷

Good morning from a sunny W Kent. Supermarket shop this morning and U3A AGM this afternoon.
Apparently yesterday's GCSE's swung between disaster and triumph, only another week to go.
Best wishes to all

Oldies coffee morning and some shopping in the village and then will shelter indoors with a book if the rather over dramatic forecast is right. That feels like a full day, which it isn’t but seems to be what I have the energy for. I am so frustrated by my lack of get up and go but don’t know what I can do about it.

Hope we all have a good enough day with no nasty shocks.

Good morning Mick and all from Sunnyside (very) northwest coast.
Working out with my neighbour the feeding of both our cats during summer holidays and fingers crossed, we won’t be away together.
I have had trees lopped in the large back garden, they were starting to meet in the middle of the garden…the gardener is going to put some roses in for me. The redesigned garden didn’t include them. I have a brown thumb rather than a green finger and can’t keep things alive.
Off to art now. If I spent as much time on it as I do painting my face, I’d be Leonardo da Vinci by now😁 Actually, I do it in 10 minutes.
No partying now Mick and thoughts to all with worries of any kind.

Good Morning from a steadily brightening S Yorks (at last, a sunny day).

Yesterday my car sailed through the MOT. Except when it got dark at bedtime I saw the cars lights were on. Cue me at 10.30 in dressing gown in the drive with th manual trying to switch them off - someone had accidentally switched them on but I hadn't a clue. I managed it but that delayed sleep by some time.

Trying to gear my brain up for a visit to the computer repair people, its an "is it a mend or a new recon" (££gulp) and a lot of sorting out so devices speak to each other. Parking is fortunately in the MacRepair yard as I hate town.

Bests for poorlies and may outings and appointments go well.

Morning from yet another cool, grey day in Co Durham.
Weather app says we might reach 15 degrees today with sunny intervals.
Lazy day today for me , hope everyone has as good a day as possible.

Good morning from yet another grey, cool Durham. The forecast is for 16degrees - disappointing for June.
Coffee this morning with a friend, then I’ll walk little dog and take him home to DD2. Nail appointment with her this afternoon.
Hung the new curtains yesterday, I’m quite pleased with them, but still need accessories to finish off the room.
Heard a rumour that my neighbours are moving. No-one will be sorry to see them go, I certainly won’t miss their cars almost blocking me in - 7 adults in the house, 8 cars and parking for only 3!
Best wishes to all. X

Good morning from a sunny but windy Tyne Valley. Been to see the GP about my sore eyes and painful knee. Eyes could be eczema or a fungal infection. Knee needs an x-ray to see what is going on. He's prescribed a very mild steroid cream for my eyes and I've to go back if it doesn't work.
It's the ninth of June, Blaydon Races!

Good morning everyone from sunny Lancashire. This weather is set to continue for some days yet, I hope those who don’t like heat are coping.

Hope your day goes well Mick. Have a wonderful holiday Oops, you’re quite right not to stress about things. Lindos looks lovely NannyJan.

Today’s exciting plans include washing some winter fleeces (me) and a trip to the dump (MrB).

Safe journey to any travellers and healing thoughts to any poorlies.

Have a good day all 🌻🌻🌻

Good morning from a sunny but breezy Co Armagh
My solar fountain thing has given up ! I liked it for clearing the water , I had bought a spare so managed to find it this morning 😃
I’ve been a bit busy this week so today is a day off , just a leisurely watering in the greenhouse , the water butt is very low and I don’t want to use tap water except as a last resort
I catch the water I use rinsing cups and the water in the shower before it gets warm to use on the pots and flower beds
Lots of thoughts and prayers for all needing them xx

Good afternoon from sunny Michigan. It's 7.40 am here and we're on the road to Wisconsin where it's only 6.40 am . I've had no internet all week but will now be back in the world of connection.
I'll try to post a photo of last night's sunset over Lake Michigan, taken inthe back garden of DH cousin's holiday home

Marydoll Fri 09-Jun-23 13:50:49

That is stunning, Pitt, enjoy!

That’s beautiful Pittcity. Are you going to Wisconsin via Upper Peninsula? Pictured Rocks are worth a boat ride.
