Well the missing mug turned up! I went to fill the bird bath this morning as the sparrows were lined up on the fence sulking, and there it was, on the grass, at the end of the bed that GS had been helping me widen. We had stopped for a drink, I resumed and he brought my coffee up because it was going cold. I drank it, put the mug down and forgot all about it! Much relief! It is one which was a present from him when he was about four, so a bit special. It says “Super Gran” on it. I wonder if there’s one that says “Forgetful Gran”? Sorry ladies, no snippers, secateurs, balls of string or spectacles!
