£150 each for both DH and I. Happy enough with that.

I won nothing this month but hubby won £325. He has the max amount, £50,000. He just looked up how much interest his bank would have given on £50k in a year and it was £93. He has won several thousands in P Bond wins this year.
I am going to transfer more savings into P Bonds this afternoon. 😉

He would get over £300 now with the new one year NS & I bonds.

What are one year bonds, please?

Doodledog Sun 03-Sept-23 07:43:18

I moved a chunk of mine to an ISA giving something like 4.5% just before the prize levels on bonds increased, but I have still won £125 in the last couple of months. I can’t remember how much the ISA will pay over the year or two the money is locked away, but it still feels like a better deal. I might increase my monthly spend on new bonds though. I’ve had a DD going for years now at £50 a month, but I think I’ll increase it a bit.

They have a new one year bond, offering 6.2% interest.

Ah, I see, thanks. I thought you were talking about Premium Bonds - too early on a Sunday morning for me grin.
