Good to see Urms and Kalu with slightly better news
Thinking of you all.
Also grandmabatty who is being pulled in all directions but hopefully light at the end of the tunnel.

Grammaretto thank you. It's true. I feel like an elastic band some days! Fortunately I'm quite resilient.

Good morning it’s cold and wet here today, I was literally awake all night, not sure why but I went to sleep some time after 6.15 am, my plans of gardening all day thwarted by the weather and feeling like a wet dishcloth.
Good to see kalu and urms posting, hugs to you both and your DHs.
Have a good day everyone, safe travels, fun times for those on holiday and hugs for anyone in need and let’s hope it stops raining soon.

Good morning Auntyflo and all x

Good morning Mick and all from sunny Lancashire. A mild 15°C.

Another good night’s sleep, today I need to do a little laundry and hopefully get out for a walk.

Safe journey Ash.

Lovely to see you Kalu.

Well done sorting out your will and poa Grandmabatty, glad the situation with your mother is going the right way.

As always thinking of all dealing with troubles.

Have a good day all whatever you’re doing🌻

Good morning all from sunny Mallorca.

Groundhog Day again as I type from the poolside. This kind of holiday is completely alien to us and we are trying to adjust. DH is slowly recovering from his chest infection but has no energy and my vertigo caused me to visit a pharmacy where I was able to buy betahistamine which is helping a little. A right pair we are!

So lovely to see Kalu and Urms posting.

My dear sister’s husband is today undergoing the first of what may be several surgeries now that his chemo has been paused. Difficult times for them.

Thinking of everyone struggling with illness or worries.

Still dry here in Dunblane but very dull. Good to see you posting Kalu. I am sure you will not have lost your touch Marydoll enjoy the cuddles. Quiet day yesterday just a trip to M&S for some bits and pieces. GD2 came in after school and will do so again today as these are the days we look after her after school. She is Primary 6 now and basically is no bother. As we have done some childcare for her since she was a baby she knows where everything is and helps herself, she does ask first though! She loves doing crafty things unlike her older sister who has no patience at all. Not much else planned today but will footer about probably shifting things from one place to another. Hope all the poorlies have a better day.

Good morning Mick and all from Sunnyside northwest coast.
A day of bits and pieces yesterday, appointment with Doc to check moles. She thinks ok, but will refer me. Then I returned a top to Primarni and found the satin black midi skirt I had had my eye on, only one left, so pleased with that. Then to health shop for milk thistle for my wayward stomach.
Don’t know if it helps, but still take it. After that I strangely fancied a Kentucky fried chicken when passing the shop. Enjoyed it, but they are horrid places.

Went out to see the moon, but cloudy…
Quiet day and thoughts to Urms Kalu, all with troubles and Bon Voyage Ash

It’s so warming to read such welcoming messages of support.
You’re simply the best, thank you.

My thoughts are with you, your sister and her DH Baubles ♥️

Good morning, while it still is. Heavy rain has arrived in West Sussex but I did see the blue moon on my way to bed at 1am.
I’m glad to see you are recovered, Mick. We had a lovely weekend at Greenbelt Festival (near Kettering) but DH has brought Covid back with him - it is the first time it has visited our household. He is coughing hideously and has a fever but says he doesn’t feel too bad. I will miss my book group tomorrow and it was my choice of book 🙁. On Monday we should be conveying DGD’s bedding, tv and other essentials, to Salford while her parents convey her and her vast clothing collection in their car. On Tuesday we are due at a caravan site south of Edinburgh where I have a meet-up with my flat mates from student days. I cannot catch Covid 😨

I am enjoying hearing, and seeing, all the travels, from Filey to the Med via Andalusia, and back by Killarney. Sorry it’s not been such a rewarding holiday for you and your DH, Baubles.

It’s good to hear from Kalu and Urms and that decisions are being made for your mum Grandmabatty.

Sad to hear of music being given up but good when the next generation are taking up the baton (/accordion/guitar).

I have had to cancel today’s coffee with one friend and lunch with another so I will make another attempt at decluttering, following the excellent examples of Marydoll and Grandmattie. It took me nearly an hour to clear a space in the spare bedroom to unfold the sofa bed so that I could sleep away from DH’s coughing and germ spreading, last night.

Hope all plans for today go well.

Welcome back Kalu 👋

Just popped back in to read all the posts I didn't have time to read this morning, and it was so lovely to see you posting Kalu and that Mr Kalu is comfortable. I hope you enjoyed your garden time x
