Good Morning Everyone,
Its twilight before we start to have another hot day here in brackley , normally its raining when the fair comes to town.
Mind think back last year sees the anniversary of the Queens Death will it be marked with something of an event?
Otherwise , taking it day by day as to health improvements .
Take Care,
Mick

Such sadness, Ashcombe. Thinking of the little family and how life can change in an instant.πŸ•ŠοΈ

Good morning from a sunny and pleasantly warm Angus coast. It must have been a cool night as I still can't see through the north facing windows because of the condensation on the outside. I thought I was waking up to a foggy day!
Ash there are no words πŸ™. Such unutterable tragedy.
Happy 70th Monk and enjoy your day - and the Stunning Seventies. Way to go til you reach the Achey Eighties πŸ˜‰.
Yesterday's tai chi class was a good one, although I don't quite know why as I had had very little sleep the night before! The shopping wasn't quite so good - after a visit to the butcher and the fishmonger I drove straight past Tesco's without noticing! So that is still to be done.
This morning must be spent doing tai chi paperwork, and the plums are not going to pick themselves either. As I only seem to fully function in the mornings these days, I had better get a shift on.
Enjoy these last summery days of the year everyone and I hope the rays make the poorly feel better x

Good morning from East Yorkshire. We have fog but it will burn back soon. At least so far it’s a bit cooler.

Happy birthday Monk and Jacs hope you enjoy your day.

Such tragic news Ash incomprehensible to how the family must feel.

Awaiting delivery of our new bed. DH is upstairs hoovering around and dismantling head board from our old one. The new one will be here within the hour on the latest tracking update. Then we will decamp to our lodge for the weekend. Can’t wait as it will be much cooler there.

And a happy birthday to Jacs too! There are five strapping young men in my garden currently chopping trees and using chain saws and heavy duty hedge trimmers. I'm enjoying the view

Foxygloves Fri 08-Sept-23 08:38:16

Good morning all 😎😎😎
What a truly dreadful tragedy Ashcombe it puts things into a very different perspective. Shock, grief, loss- as others have said upthread, there are no adequate words.
So I won’t prattle on about my trivial preoccupations for once, just take a few minutes to reflect on the good things of life granted to most of us and the devastation that poor family are facing. flowers

Good morning everyone from the last day of our holiday in north Wales.

Happy birthday Monk; today is my birthday too although I’m a couple of years older than you . We plan on going to Bodnant Gardens for a wander and lunch before packing up ready for an early start tomorrow. We shall be travelling to Hereford to stay with my sister before we return to Kent on Sunday.

Dreadful time for that little family Ash. There are no words.

Hope those who are unwell start to recover and those going through difficult times at home and school start to find things getting easier.

Have a good day

Good morning from a brighter NE, yesterday was overcast all day.
I cleaned the upstairs window frames and left every window open, the temperature at bedtime was much more comfortable. It is very unusual for it not to be windy here.
Today is GD1's 18th birthday, my goodness how time flies, won't see her today as she is at college but will have lunch with her tomorrow.
Sorry to hear your sad news Ashcombe, thoughts and prayers for the family.

Grandmabatty Fri 08-Sept-23 08:04:43
