Good Morning Everyone,
Dark here but dry in brackley .
Plans for the day , is laundry day for me plus other chores .
Health wise , I think the heatwave played its part as to the continued diarrhea,as it would like to get my system back to normal although have been told it could go on for months .
Take Care,
Mick

Good morning from a more comfortable Sarthe with a temperature of 15 deg now and a likely high of 23 later.

I hope you can find a way to manage your problem, Mick; it must be very debilitating.

Poor DH drove to Le Mans early yesterday through heavy downpours and the rush hour, only to be told that his stitches couldn’t be taken out at the clinic he attended! In the evening he sought the assistance of the local nurse who happily obliged and we are pleased at the neat scar on his neck that is now revealed.

Today we hope to visit Nogent-le-Rotrou to meet some British friends for lunch, which should be pleasant. I shall drive to enable DH to enjoy a glass or three!!

Happy hump day! 🦩🥰😎💐🦩

Good morning from Bristol. I haven’t looked out yet but the forecast is for cool and dry. Laundry in the washing machine.
It was pouring down when I was due to walk to tai-chi, so I didn’t go. Added to that, the classes are held outdoors on an old tennis court…
I assembled my squares and have started sewing on the “straps”, strips of fabric to hide the joins.
One of my neighbours called on her way back from a blood test, to say that the surgery was booking covid jabs, so I did that. She is having work done to her flat and one of her men does little jobs on the side. I’ve booked him to put up my new blinds. I don’t have a drill and goodness knows when DD would come.
Today, my upstairs neighbour is taking me to Tesco, then I have my book group in the next village. This month, the book was the very sweet “84 Charing Cross Road”.
I hope those with troubles have a good day. Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩🦩

Good morning from s somerset, typical nice september day here

A good day yesterday, I abandoned my cycle ride,I saw spots of rain appear on my saddle. I did that walk instead, its perfect for me, about 1.5 hilly miles and I can maintain my determined pace for that distance. Cycling for an hour this morning. Different hills and more lanes

One beautiful garment finished yesterday, a difficult sew and another simple one to be made today from the leftover scraps, before I clean and tidy my sewing room.

I must remember to load my washing machine overnight, bedding etc as I like to do a long slow eco wash to peg out early

Have a good day

Good morning all from the Black country haven't opened curtains yet so don't know what the weather is doing.
Today I'm helping at playgroup so it's an early start for me, now we no longer have nursery pick up I've told DiL will help when needed. Will also collect DH dentures which she has mended for him.
Enjoy your day everyone whatever your plans and may you all find some ☀️.

Morning Mick, morning All from a clear corner of Somerset.

All the indoor tedious stuff finished yesterday I’m hoping for a morning in the garden. Autumn jobs are waiting. Not sure what else. Maybe an afternoon out there as well although some ironing is lurking.

A frustrating trip for your husband ash, pleased all was well in the end. Hope you’re more settled today mick. You’ll be pleased to have your blinds in place mattie. Sounds sensible to me.

Onwards. Maybe I’ll do some early ironing, get it done.

Hope Wednesday is kind to us all.

Good morning all from a brightening North Leicestershire.

Up early today as the work surface is being fitted and dh is off to the gym.

Have the best day possible everyone.

Good morning from the edge of the Cotswolds, it’s looking like a mellow September morning here. We did get much rain yesterday so I will be gardening today.
I had a lovely pedicure yesterday, bright red toenails 😊
I hope today goes well for you all 🌹

Mizuna Wed 13-Sep-23 07:08:08

Good morning from a bright but cooler Cornwall, phew! This morning my paintings are finally (after several false starts) winging their way to the church, then I'm meeting an old school friend for coffee.

This evening I'm going with my daughter-in-law to watch Matthew Bourne's Swan Lake ballet at the cinema. I first saw it on stage years ago and was struck dumb (literally, but fortunately just for an hour) by the sheer beauty and power of it. This will be the first time my daughter-in-law has watched a ballet, even though she's 42.

Good morning from an overcast South Downs.

Just back from our very early morning walk - stomach calling. - wish it would hurry up and get better - he is fine in himself so I really don’t think there is much wrong, but I will decide about the vet if it goes on I think.

I watched Marcus ‘s garden programme on television and he was picking samphire from our river walk. Duncan always rolls in it after his river dip, plus the odd wee😮 and there was Marcus eating it as he lay on the ground - hope his stomach is ok.

Feel a bit jaded today as I was up walking at 3am and 5.45am with the dog - will just do what I fancy today I think, although I have a mountain of ironing - that can wait until tomorrow when I’m hopefully more rested.

Pork chop tray bake today

Pleased to see everyone is ok, with just the mild irritation.

Peace and harmony all.

Good morning all from Polmont where it's currently 8° and sunny. Mizuna I love Matthew Bourne's version of Swan Lake. I've seen it many times. It's very powerful and beautifully danced. Enjoy. Kitty is that the kitchen build coming to an end?
Yesterday was up and down. The morning was good. Dgs2 and I went to the park. While feeding the ducks, I felt a tap on the back. When I turned round, we were surrounded by large full grown cygnets! One of them had tapped me looking for food. Later on, we played in the garden and walked to the swings. After I picked up dgs1 from nursery, dgs2 had an hour of tantrums. It was hard work! Later I visited mum who was much the same.
Today I'm doing nothing much except some pottering. Then I'll visit my friend's partner to see how he is. Chicken curry for dinner. Have a good day all

ginny Wed 13-Sep-23 07:22:06

Good morning everyone. It’s looking fairly bright outside at the moment. We had a fair amount of rain yesterday.

I have a consultant appointment this morning re. my hip . One step nearer to some relief from the pain.

Afterwards I have to pick up some euros for DD2 and then this afternoon I will have littlest DGS for a couple of hours. Later I have a watercolour that I would like to finish. I am practicing landscapes.
Hope all who have pain or illness find some relief and a good day wished for all.

harrigran Wed 13-Sep-23 07:29:27

Good morning from a sunny NE where it is 10 degrees and the heating is on.
Yesterday I did the washing, couldn't hang it outside because of the rain but got it all dried and ironed by late afternoon.
Today I have a dental check up and then I will go shopping with SIL
BIL is still not driving because of his ruptured achilles tendon and sister took her car for it's MOT yesterday, it failed. I guess I won't be seeing them this week.
Have a good day

brook2704 Wed 13-Sep-23 07:32:24

Grammaretto Wed 13-Sep-23 07:35:39

Good morning all from the Scottish Borders.
5°C so really chilly.

There were some very loud people in the town last night which almost stopped me sleeping. Something to do with football?

Yarn group today and my wool delivery should arrive. I finished a pot for the annual art prize. it won't win but it's good to take part 😊

My painter df has painted me for the show which will be funny to see. She is also lending me a landscape to hang until she needs it again.

I hope you feel a lot better soon Mick.
Ash I am glad your DH eventually had his stitches out.

I tried to change my covid appointment on-line but failed. It is midday on a Sunday and inconvenient. I may just have to keep it.
Wishing you all a happy day whatever you are doing.

Marydoll Wed 13-Sep-23 07:37:18

Good morning all from a partly sunny Glasgow.

I am too upset to post. Earlier, I had a message from my friend to say his premature grandson, who born on Saturday, died during the night. Baby was doing really well. I am heartbroken for the family, who have had so much to contend with in the last year.

Susan56 Wed 13-Sep-23 07:40:25

Oh Mary, heartbreaking. My thoughts and prayers to that poor family and to you as well🙏🏻

Grandmabatty Wed 13-Sep-23 07:43:01

Susan my neck of the woods! Enjoy and safe journey both ways.

Pittcity Wed 13-Sep-23 07:43:09

Good morning from sunny Colchester. After a muggy rainy day yesterday it feels fresher with a high of only 20° today.
Usual Wednesday morning coffee meetup.

Life is so unfair Marydoll. Sending hugs and love to all 🦩 x

Greyduster Wed 13-Sep-23 07:43:41

Good morning Michael and all GNs from a clearing South Yorkshire. We are set to have a fine day. It never stopped raining yesterday. I did a small shop, tackled the ironing mountain and in the evening had a very long phone conversation with an old friend, full of laughter. She’s a joy. Today it’s laundry this morning and writers group at the library this afternoon. I have some birthday cards to buy while I’m out, one of them for my nephew’s grandson who is a year old this weekend. Born at 26 weeks, it’s a milestone for the little chap.
Have the best day you can folks.

luluaugust Wed 13-Sep-23 07:44:08

Good morning from a sunny N Norfolk, hopefully less rain today and we can be out and about. DS is another year older today.
