The book review by Luckygirl3 is most perceptive, and adds some snippets that many folk wouldn't know. She doesn't HAVE to be on chat shows and use the fanny and fart references, she's bright enough to discuss a wide range of events both past and present. So that's a shame, as her 'potty' mouth just makes her look potty.

She's also a hypocrite, as that review points out, she makes caustic jokes about the male 'dangler' but has 2 of her own that now reach pretty much to her shins. I hadn't been aware that she boasts (that review again) of pleasuring strange men with a BJ or HJ, but that's a very useful warning!

Oh, and I also wasn't aware she'd posed nude for Augustus John -- was he at one time employed painting a circus marquee?

She is the most revolting and repulsive person as regards physical presence and personality that I know of. No contest.

She does it purely for the shock factor which she seems to believe is funny. She’s NOT funny, and although she acted in films with real comedians she never WAS funny. By continuing with this brand of “humour” she has now just become a revolting old lady.

I like listening to her voice and perfect enunciation until she starts talking rubbish.

I don’t like her …. She never offends me as I never watch her. Why anyone wastes time watching that cringe worthy foul mouthed woman is beyond me.

I feel completely ambivalent toward her public persona, yet am totally unimpressed by her potty mouth.

I don’t suppose she cares what our opinion of her is. And why should she?

When people I dislike (eg Holly Willowby) appear on TV I either put up with her or turn over.

I find her very rude at times, I saw her yesterday on Good Morning and whilst they were introducing her to say what she was asking for people to ring in with, whilst doing this she was firstly talking whilst eating radishes & secondly talking whilst eating an onion.

My MIL would say "Oh, she just does it for effect!" 😂

I love her sense of humour. She’s absolutely hilarious and the fact she is so offensive is a plus, especially as we seem to be living in a time where people are terrified of offending others.

That’s one way of looking at it I suppose. 😂

She's fully aware of what she is doing on This Morning where they all seem to hero worship her and expect the viewer to do the same.
She is one of those people who loves the limelight by goading, insulting, farting because without doing these things she would be totally forgotten.

Why does she think we are interested in her bodily functions? We all have them, but don't feel a need to boast about them.

I am very wary of people who 'say it like it is' , they usually come across to me as a boorish loudmouth without any thought of the consequences of their actions. If a younger person behaved like that they would be pilloried.

When I'm told that someone "tells it like it is" - I inwardly shrink.

I don' t easily tolerate men who bang on about their sexual exploits and indulge in the lavatorial humour of schoolboys - so the fact she's a woman doesn't make it any more tolerable.

And being intelligent doesn't make it OK - not for me anyway.

As for Miriam, I find her attention seeking behaviour stomach churning but her intelligence and insights thought provoking

I don't like her smutty talk and don't find her at all amusing. She seems to want to shock people.
