Good morning all and it’s dry , calm but grey here in Essex.

We are off to our hide-away in Suffolk today, around lunchtime.
Liberty I’m looking forward to seeing you for a coffee next week. I’ll be in touch 👋.

This morning little pooch has the hairdressers, so I’ll go to bowls and Dh can pack what we need to take. Not much really as we have all we need up there.

Love the ‘bodgeitanddodgeit’ beechnut . I’ve got one of those! 🤣.

Enjoy Buckingham Palace Grandmadinosaur. I was there the Saturday before last and it was the hottest day. 🥵. It’s a great tour though and very interesting to see all the Coronation regalia.

I hope you get some results WWM. 🙏
Lovely quilt GM
Take care Mick . Get advice from the nurse.

Love to all suffering in any way.❤️

Good morning all from a greyish North Leicestershire.

Covid jab for both of us this afternoon, a visit to the butcher and a Sainsbury's delivery.

We got drenched picking up from school yesterday but it was lovely to see the children as always.

Marydoll Thu 21-Sept-23 07:54:13

Morning all from Troon. I have lost my post, so I will just wish you a pleasant day!

Liberty Thu 21-Sept-23 07:56:57

Good morning all from a dry Suffolk day where sunshine is predicted. Apart from a drizzly hour or so early evening yesterday,no rain unlike further west.

It is my stretch class in less than 2 hours and then,if the forecast is accurate, DH and I will take the little dog to our local common which has a lovely and very dog friendly cafe for lunch.

Delighted yesterday to have an email confirming my Indian visa had been granted. It took a friend 4 attempts to get his.

Hope today is a positive one for all especially those suffering with worries.

Oopsadaisy1 Thu 21-Sept-23 07:57:04

Good morning it’s sunny here after a terrible day yesterday, lawn is strewn with twigs and leaves and very soggy underfoot.
Another nothing day today due to an Asthma problem, I’m hoping to sort it without taking my emergency Steroids, I’ll see how another day of inhalers works, fingers crossed.
Have a good day everyone, thoughts are with those who are unwell or caring for loved ones.

Urmstongran Thu 21-Sept-23 08:04:58

Good morning everyone from south Manchester where we have a sunny start to the day! Nice.

Here’s Matt.

Good morning from Colchester where the wind has died down. The forecast is dry until late afternoon with a high of 18°.
I slept in as DH was fishing overnight and I had the bed to myself.
No regular activities on a Thursday and I have an empty. I'll change the beds and walk over to a shopping centre for a mooch in Dunelm, B&M and the Range. Its about a 15 minute walk from here and I can't buy too much as I have to carry it home, so it's good for exercise and easy on the purse.
Love to all 🦩 x

Good morning from a lovely sunny Sefton. What a change from yesterday morning which ended up as a cleaning morning. Shamed into by my OH. A very wet morning was followed by a warm & sunny afternoon so I was able to do a some garden tidying & get a bit of washing on the line.
Zumba this morning followed by an empty. Takeaway for tea.
Take care.

Taichinan Thu 21-Sept-23 08:16:40

Good morning Mick. Good morning all. It's so lovely to have a sunny start to the day on the Angus coast - although there's plenty of cloud around and it's windy and cool. After the rainy start yesterday (I got soaked walking from the car to the dentist) it turned out mild and sunny and I was able to waste spend a pleasant half hour contemplating the fish.
So sad for your mum Grandmabatty - and for you.
I'm glad you're going to speak to your support team Mick for advice and perhaps a check-up.
Congratulations on your new grandson fancythat - enjoy those baby cuddles!
Today for me is the usual Thursday tai chi class followed by a bit of shopping then home. I shall no doubt fall asleep at some point during the afternoon - there's no point in fighting it because it always wins 😉.
Thinking of those undergoing treatment today, or supporting loved ones through. I hope all goes well, and that everyone has a chance to enjoy the autumn sunshine with the last of its warmth x

Good morning from a sunny N.Bucks. So much heavy wind and rain yesterday.
Our morning plans have changed as MILs lady who does her shopping can’t come this week so it is down to us . DH says he will do it as we will now have to go this afternoon to Costco and Dunelm which will be more than enough for my hip to cope with.
A good day wished for all especially those with troubles and worries.

Safe journey Gingster

Alygran Thu 21-Sept-23 08:34:39

Good morning from North Yorkshire. The sun is shining.
It’s my birthday today. DD2 is coming later to stay over. We are off to an Indian restaurant for dinner. Coffee this morning with a friend. It’s very weird still to wake up on a birthday alone. I have a small pile of cards to open. Good to have friends.
Waited in all day yesterday for the alarm engineer. The company rang at 5 to rearrange. As he wasn’t going to make it to me. GRRR! It’s only a 10 minute job!
Wishing you all a good day.

Stilllearning Thu 21-Sept-23 08:38:22

Another good morning from South Lanarkshire, so different from yesterday which was typhoonlike. May it last.

baubles, sorry to see your DH isn’t feeling any better yet, I hope the X-rays are reassuring, his constant coughing is bound to be affecting his appetite.

I so wish had the creative gift several of you possess, Mizuna, you describe such a fulfilling life. And yet another lovely quilt grandMattie.

I’ve been wondering about the little boy in your village Aggie,
Is there any word on how he is?

Lunch with three friends today, they’re a nice bunch and I’m looking forward to seeing them.

Wishing everyone a good day.

Grammaretto Thu 21-Sept-23 08:39:51

Good morning all from the Scottish Borders. Bright and Breezy today. All the classes begin this week starting with yoga this morning. I am very stiff and creaky.
Lovely quilt gMattie
Small world indeed Foxy
The doorbell has just rung so I'll have to go down.
No servants these days grin

Gwenisgreat Thu 21-Sept-23 08:41:17

Good morning all from sunny Harrogate.
Lovely quilt GrandMattie. Clever lady! I’m glad you are seeing the team about your present problem Mick.
Yes, get your DH checked out ASAP Baubles. I had TB 7 years ago and the surgery would not send me to the respiratory clinic at the hospital for 5years. As a result I have Bronchiectasis.
Today it’s Sainsburies delivery then have to find out if my Hospital appointment is still on before getting the train 🚂 to York.
My DH finally got his email address back 30 hours after asking for help. It couldn’t be that difficult surely?
Have the best day possible folks

luluaugust Thu 21-Sept-23 08:41:46

Good morning from a bright W Kent Off to art group this morning and a catch up with everyone. Should have a call from the Clinical Pharmacist! but haven't received usual reminder from the surgery so I wonder if it will happen.
How lovely a new grandson fancythat
Beautiful quilt gM
All the best

Just came back to say Happy Birthday Alygran. You share the day with my eldest DGS who is 21 today.

hollysteers Thu 21-Sept-23 09:12:49

Good morning Mick and all from Sunnyside northwest coast.
Home after another problem journey with Lufthansa. Delays meant we missed our connection in Frankfurt from Salzburg and no flight could be found that night so we stayed an extra night there and handed a toothbrush 😁 Taxi vouchers, meal laid on. Flight home in the morning ok, but all tiring.

Faulty ground floor window blown wide open when I returned home so anyone could have climbed in, although DD says “What would they take Mum?” incredulously, the cheek!
Hospital appointment this morning, dermatologist and nice to be home.

So sorry you are having problems Mick and birthday greetings Alygran

luluaugust Thu 21-Sept-23 09:14:47

Happy birthday Alygran

Sar53 Thu 21-Sept-23 09:23:58

Good morning from a fairly bright Essex coast.
Late to the party this morning so I haven't read all the previous posts yet.
Bits and bobs to do this morning, then hair cut late this afternoon.
Have a lovely day everyone xxx

Bigred18 Thu 21-Sept-23 09:34:11

Evening from Sydney. Much cooler 24 degrees today after 34 yesterday - thank goodness for ceiling fans, worked a treat.

Bella23 Thu 21-Sept-23 09:48:49

The sun has got it's hat on in Eden, DH is heading to the hills.

Had a lovely unexpected afternoon yesterday,Facetime with DD and GD who was off school and ill but well enough to chatter, then a visit from my lovely neighbour from across the road. DH must have told her I was incapacitated and she arrived with sunflowers which I always try to have in one of the windows.
Housework in the sunshine today , it has all been so neglected you can write your name in the dust.
I hope all who are ill feel better soon and happy birthday to all those who are just really a day older.
