And even longer if you use the British billion. Until the Americans came over a billion was actually a million million or what we now call a trillion

I’m always trying to explain to people how big a billion is, especially when we’re talking politics.
I gave them this analogy.
If you were given £1,000 a day from the day Jesus died you still wouldn’t be a billionaire.
