When I used to work with people with conditions like Alzheimers we always knew - everyone used to get a bit 'edgy'. There was once a brawl in a home I was visiting between two ladies. Lady A took offence that Lady B was ignoring her. Lady B was quite put out that a strange woman was trying to hang onto her arm. Lady A was adamant they were life long friends. The more Lady B tried to get way the more Lady A hung on, getting faster and faster until Lady B turned and gave Lady A a wallop round the ear. There was also a man with severe brain damage who used to walk the corridors all night when there was a full moon. Never spoke or interacted with anyone, just walked.

I said exactly the same thing tonight to DH, when I spotted the full moon when driving home. I found it all a bit eerie. 🌕

When ‘on call’ as a midwife, full moon nights inevitably involved going to several women whose labours had started with their waters breaking. Always a busy night!

When I worked in A&E we always knew when it was a full moon as the place was invariably madder than usual.

Janejudge Totally agree with you. I get super sensitive and emotional when a full moon is approaching. Also, I can never sleep. I am wide awake tossing & turning.
