Good Morning Everyone,
I have woken to a dark and wet morning with some wind here in brackley today.
My plan as usual bus to Bicester and start with my bakery cafe for a coffee and a cake , followed by maybe a hair cut,and a shop .
Must notify the nursing team at the Churchill in Oxford with a update .
Take Care,
Mick

Heavy rain and strong winds in Eden. I am praying it will bring down next doors dangling enormous branches before the children come home on the school bus. We can then involve the council as it will block the highway and they can become involved. Which they have declined to do in the past.
Washing day is a washout.

Good Morning from a stormy Co Armagh, we were going out this morning , but have delayed till after lunch time .
The power must have been off in the night , so now some clocks have to:be reset again
Lovely picture of your beautiful Granddaughter, Marydoll
I love her Christening Gown , my eldest grandchildren were Baptised wearing the gown I had been Baptised in. The next lot were too big to fit in it , mine was sized for a newborn

I am glad you were able to be at the Christening Marydoll but sorry you felt so unwell.
90% wonderful day
10% dreadful. would you say?

Good morning/afternoon Mick, Annie and all. Late again! I was reading through the posts, and realised that I hadn't read yesterdays. So went back to catch up. Then had to go and put the first lot of washing on the line, while it is still dry, but blowing hard. DH had put the rubbish together and left it, supposedly safe by the porch, until tomorrow, but one of the bags blew away.
Glad to hear that your bathroom is coming along nicely GrandMattie. You will be so pleased to have it all new and shiny.
I woke myself up coughing last night, and it lasted for ages, so will have a snooze later on. ( that's normal though for me these days).
Yesterday DD and SIL came for lunch as their boiler is broken and so no heating. Luckily they have a wood burner, so are not freezing. It was lovely to have them here, but tiring. What an old grouch I am.
DH is going out to lunch with friends today, so I will choose from the left overs what to eat.
As is usual, I have now forgotten all the replies I was going to make. So sending all with worries a hug.
Have a good day one and all.

Good day all! Breezy but dry and bright here in West Sussex.

I was pleased to see a post from you, Auntieflo, as I was thinking you hadn’t posted recently (although I am an irregular reader so may have missed you). Hope your washing dries in the wind and smells sweet when you bring it in.

Marydoll, lovely Christening Day photo of Babydoll. Sorry you had to go home early but glad you made it for the main event.

Susan, I laughed (kindly, I hope), at your thinking maybe you do too much! I don’t know how you manage all the driving, childminding, Mum visiting. Grandmabatty is the same. And then there are all the busy crafters. I am embarrassed by my relative laziness.

Must go and do useful things 🙂. Good wishes to Mick and all.

What a delightful baby girl Marydoll. You must be overfilled with joy and love. Delighted you got to the Baptism but sad for you that you missed the 'afters'. However, you still have those lovely memories to hold on to. Take care and keep safe xx
