I like her as well, she bounces through life making mistakes, trying to put them right but above all she loves her girls. I admire the way she has supported Andrew. rightly or wrongly. A fallible human being like all of us.

And she has never complained about her lot, always remaining loyal to the RF even though they treated her harshly. I think the D of E was cruel banishing her to one of the cottages at Sandringham at Christmas so she couldn’t see her two little girls until tea time.

She made her mistakes but they were nothing compared to what was to come from her husband!

Anyone is better than Meghan.

pascal30 Mon 20-Nov-23 14:51:58

She certainly has to be admired for her resilience..

She’ll be giving us financial advice next. 😂

Could be worse- could be Meghan gringringrin

😁 😁 😁
I don't think the comment is Meghan bashing, just a joke. The bashing boat sailed a long time ago. ⛵️

I like Sarah, but I'm not sure she is qualified to advise people on their woes. But then half the people on GN aren't, but so what if it helps!

BigBertha1 Mon 20-Nov-23 14:57:24

Ah I don't watch Good Morning but I wouldn't mind Sarah giving me the benefit of her experiences I quite like her.

NotSpaghetti Mon 20-Nov-23 14:58:19

Interested to see how many people like her on here.

I've not seen anything of her recently- however I heard her on the radio and think she would probably be quite good.

Germanshepherdsmum Mon 20-Nov-23 15:01:11

Yes I like her too, she’s bounced back from some bad times - she always seems very positive.

Bea65 Mon 20-Nov-23 15:02:18

I thought it was all very chringey the hugging and gushing over her- switched her off- don’t know what she could add - maybe it’s the ££??
But do like Alison & Dermot

Bea65 Mon 20-Nov-23 15:04:02

Oops cringey 😬- is that an actual word 😜

I agree

She always reminds me of Tigger 😃
Bouncy, energetic and always optimistic.

I don’t usually watch any morning TV, but I like Sarah and I expect she’ll do well. Like many of us on GN she’s had a lot to put up with, but I haven’t noticed her whingeing.

Calendargirl Mon 20-Nov-23 15:51:31

Probably needs the money.

Good luck to her.

BlueBelle Mon 20-Nov-23 16:07:08

I don’t watch morning TV but I like Sarah Ferguson she’s fun and never lets anything get her down I hope it all goes well for her and for crying out loud leave Meghan out of it it’s just pathetic the way some people feel they have to malign her whatever the thread is about and that’s just nasty

Anniebach Mon 20-Nov-23 16:12:45

What did Sarah have to put up with ? She had an affair , end of marriage.

fancythat Mon 20-Nov-23 16:19:29

I dont watch the programme, but Sarah as an agony aunt? Doesnt sit right to me personally.

DamaskRose Mon 20-Nov-23 17:05:51

I can take her or leave her but she does seem very resilient. Don’t watch morning television so cant judge.

icanhandthemback Mon 20-Nov-23 17:12:02

I like Sarah, she seems like a genuinely nice person who has made mistakes but worked hard to make amends. I don't watch Good Morning because I can't stand Alison Hammond for more than a minute.

Germanshepherdsmum Mon 20-Nov-23 17:16:57

I respect her for never having badmouthed the Royal Family, despite their (Prince Philip in particular I think) having treated her shabbily.

welbeck Mon 20-Nov-23 17:20:56

i wonder how many of the regular audience know who she is.
i am often with people who have the programme on, they were asking me who she was.
she seems at least as good as many of the varied presenters.

Anniebach Mon 20-Nov-23 17:47:29

Her inlaws treated her shabbily ! any different to what many families do ?

BlueBelle Mon 20-Nov-23 17:53:07

So that makes it right Annie !
The royal family aren’t any old family they are supposed to be what us peasants lookup to, yes most women with any spirit coming into the royal family are treated a bit poorly

Germanshepherdsmum Mon 20-Nov-23 17:54:22

Do many families prevent a mother from being with her children on Christmas Day?

Anniebach Mon 20-Nov-23 17:58:24

It happens in divorces . Having an affair is proof of a woman of spirit ?

BlueBelle Mon 20-Nov-23 18:02:45

With a husband like Andrew I d think anyone would have an affair, however she’s been very loyal to him and their girls never heard her say a bad word about him
