Celebrations to bring the New Year in ?

What delights is everyone doing to bring 2024 in ?

I am doing a family meal, presents ( didnt get chance to open them on Christmas day due to covid ) and party games. Its a mix of Christmas day and new years eve.

I dont think we will be up and awake when the clock strikes 12.

I used to love new years eve in the pub, dancing, having fun, drinking wine and hugging everyone, determined to make changes in the new year.

Now I've my pyjamas on, hot water bottle and bed by 10 - hahahahaha. Hey ho !!!! Least I have great memories ....

Whatever you do, I wish you a happy new year everyone... 😃

Well I was asleep by 1130 and even the fireworks did not wake me. I slept for nine hours. Great start to 2024! Happy New Year!

Hahahaha well, in bed hugging hot water bottle before the clock struck,
Fast asleep 😴 .

I was informed this morning that there wad a slight puff of a firework and then silence.... my reply was not bothered, didn't hear but whoaaaa I had a fabulous sleep. and to think at 1 time I made such a big hoo-ha about it.

Such a lovely sound sleep 💤💤 💤💤
