Have You Treated Yourself Since Christmas?

I've treated myself to a couple of little things that were on my Christmas list, but which no one had bought for me.
The first was the Harvest teapot by Mark's and Spencer's, which Musicgirl posted on my thread 'Does anyone else have a passion for Teapots?' I do have a passion for teapots and fell in love with it when I saw it in the photo🤗. And she's right - it does make a super cup of tea!

Then when I put up a thread: 'I'm thinking of buying a yarn bowl', Greyduster mentioned a beehive shaped yarn holder that her mother used to use. Intruiged, I set off on a journey of discovery and found them selling on ebay. They were made of bakelite. I liked the look of it and wondered who might have used it all those years ago 🤔. I showed it to hubby, who likes anything vintage and without my knowing, he bought it for me. What a lovely surprise.

Finally, I treated myself to a tension yarn ring, which I had only just learnt about. So I've been having great fun with the yarn holder and tension ring. The tension ring takes the hard work out of crocheting. No more cramped fingers. And my cat can't tamper with the wool 😄🙀.

So have you, or anyone else, treated you since Christmas?

Having read about fleecy lined leggings on this thread, I have bought two pairs, plus two thermal long-sleeved tops. They are so cosy. Also, a pair of black ‘biker’ boots to complete the outfit! I’ll have to take a look at the Primark ones Oldnproud. Thank you for starting this thread Fairycakes, it’s giving me ideas. 😊

You're welcome, Patsy70. I think I might have a look at those fleece-lined leggings myself. They're just the ticket for this cold weather 🥶

I also got the fleecy lined leggings from Primark. Reduced to £4 a pair. Absolutely brilliant under trousers in the weather we, re having just now.

Bought a dress for just £19.50 in Tesco today. It just said “buy me”. Never bought clothes in Tesco before apart from socks and tights.

It is lovely and will scrunch up in suitcase for holidays. No ironing required as it’s a crinkly sort of material.

Saw this oversized fleece hoodie in the M&S sale for £5.50 - to fit age 15-16. It’s hardly been off my back since as the weather’s been so cold.
