Used it once last year. Local organic shop, collected bag, very excited. It contained 2 tubs of margarine, both of which had expiry dates the actual day of collection plus a few pieces of fruit, all well past their eat by dates, brown and mouldy.
Complained on the site and saw soon after that the shop was no longer participating. It was food ready to be thrown our, not sold, however cheaply.

I had never heard of this until Bluebelle started this thread so a big thank you!

I downloaded the app and as we are staying at our holiday let with Booths a 2 minute walk away I thought I would try the app.

It took me 3 days of trying before I secured a £5 grocery bag, Booths is very popular the meat and fish apparently sells out in minutes.

My bag consisted of Booths fresh and very delicious Lancashire meat and potato pie ( did lunch for 2), 2 treacle tarts, a cottage pie for 1, broccoli in cheese sauce, and a big bag of delicious cherry tomatoes.

I will try again next time we are here for a meat and fish bag.
It’s a bit like an adults lucky bag!
