EVs are not compulsory until 2035 even then petrol cars will be on the roads for at least 20 yrs, we can all choose what we want.

EVs have caught fire and are headline news despite in the same period probably 100 others have caught fire without a mention.
However you wait until a hydrogen car catches fire, that will be spectacular.

I have an electric Zoe and it is lovely. I have a charging point at home. I don’t drive long journeys so it’s ideal for me. It was 18 months old when I bought and the price of the car was comparable to a petrol one. I drive most days with the heater on if it’s cold or the air conditioning on if it hot. A full charge lasts me over two weeks.
