Don't worry, Sparklefizz, I can take it. . I genuinely didnt set out to spoil your thread, which is on a perfectly valid topic.
And I have to admit that despite my personal experience, I have found myself agreeing very strongly about some of the names that have been mentioned above.

I’ve got to agree with all the aforementioned - AH, AC and EP especially.
Unfortunately when my DDs get together and find something hilarious they sound like a pair of seals!

Switch off Radio2 on a Sunday when Elaine Page comes on - such an irritating laugh. Another similar one for me is the new presenter on Bake Off.

The worst laugh of all is Rusty Lee (female chef) because she says something as if it is a joke (it isn't) and then laughs uncontrollably. I think what makes it worse is the fact that she is laughing at absolutely nothing.

Oh how I agree she drives me mad. Any programme she is in I recond and fast forward her part. I also hate Alison Hammond's laugh in fact I do not like anything about her .
By the way I once started a similat kind of thread asking " who gets up your nose " and was rebuked about it .

Actually, I find Elaine Paige’s laugh contagious - it makes me laugh too 😂😂. Some people have a laugh like that, I find. There’s a lady at a cafe I go to - her laugh makes me giggle, too.

I’m just glad people are laughing and I’ve never thought about it being annoying. I’m so pleased always to listen to happiness rather than all the misery and negativity that’s on the tv these days.

I notice that Jimmy Carr has been mentioned several times.
He is one person that grates on me. So much so, that I have to turn off the programme that he's appearing on.
And yes, I agree, Amanda Holden does sound like a cackling witch.
