Celebrities with annoying laughs

Amanda Holden and Carol Voderman just sound false and Greg Wallace always sounds so sneery.
Like GG when my two DDs get together they sound like a flock of seagulls. Even their DHs have been known to ask what the racket was when they were in another room.

Not just me then with Alan Carr, Amanda Holden, Elaine Page. I avoid listening to them. Followed lovely Ken Bruce after they replaced him with Vernon Kay on radio 2. Love Lee Mack and Gyles from Googlebox, the best laugh is with tears of laughter. Once on a teacher's course we had a talk from Gervase Phinn, retired Head, Ofsted inspector and author. He was hilarious. Imagine that, an Ofsted inspector with a sense of humour!

As a female I've been told multiple times over the years that when I start REALLY laughing I sound just like Sid James! I take it as a compliment because he had a great laugh on him!

The one woman I cannot stand in any shape or form is Alison Hammond, I cringe just listening to her speak and her laugh, wow, terrible. I stopped watching This Morning and any show that she is in and I am really annoyed that she may be taking over the spot that Paul O'grady used to host, For the love of dogs, because there is no way I will be watching it when she is on.

Amanda Holden and Alison Hammond tie. As for Elaine Paige, hate how she deliberately prolongs her stupid giggles. Can’t understand why she’s still on Radio 2 when they ditched so many decent older presenters.

Elaine Page (awful laugh, terrible programme), Graham Norton (like him otherwise), Vernon Kay (generally annoying and loud anyway) and yes, Alan Carr (very silly and affected). Off button for all of them!!

I’m sure they film Gregg Wallace gurning and chuckling at nothing, and use these shots to cover any gaps in the editing!

WonderfulLife thank goodness...I thought it was curmudgeonly old me! Nothing against Brummies, I'm from those parts... it's just that she's SO loud, SO fake and SO ANNOYING!

And to hear I'm not in the minority - Elaine Page is an instant turn off for me too. Can't stand her or her radio programme.

I can't bear any celebrity who leans back and claps while 'laughing', so fake and over-controlled.

Knitandnatter, I so agree with you. I wish I could laugh like Mutley. My husband often has a "Mutley " laugh.

I find Alison Hammond annoying, plus Rustie Lee, and Amanda Holland, Michael Macintrie.
