Celebrities with annoying laughs

Has anyone stopped to think that the way people laugh is completely natural and they can't control their natural laugh?
It's a lot like our natural accents, yes, we can put on a different one, but when we're acting naturally, our natural accent and/or laugh comes out.
I do accept that some people can 'put on' or over-play these things, but people shouldn't be slated for their 'natural' vocal traits.
I've seen so many people on this thread say they don't like Alison Hammond's laugh OR voice, she's a true Brummie (as am I), and she can't help the way she speaks/laughs.

Another one for Jimmy Carr. He sounds so fake.

This probably indicates how old I am but the laughing policeman song always made me feel ill!

Yes, Elaine Page's laugh is somewhat irritating - plus, those "horse teeth" cover her entire face. Cruel but true.

Yup, sounds really cruel.
Are you lucky to be blessed with perfect teeth? I’m certainly not, but didn’t realise that could be counted against me when I laughed.
Making such comments about someone’s teeth feels very harsh.

I watched the local news on ITV Meridian last night and there was a man and woman on the sofa reading some very serious news, then they reached the quirky, funny stories at the end and the mood became lighter. Something funny was mentioned and the woman suddenly gave out a very loud laugh which shocked me. Then she did it again. The poor chap sitting next to her had it going straight in his left ear. I will try and find out her name.

Watched again tonight and she didn't do it again, so maybe she was told to reign it in. No idea what her name was as they didn't have any credits and the newsreaders didn't introduce themselves.

I didn’t even know Elaine Paige was in a radio show.

Not a laugh, but Alex Jones voice on The One Show is awful. Screech, squawk, it sounds like nails on a blackboard. .

For those who have no idea who Elaine Page is, she's on BBC2 tonight hosting a programme about musicals. She might do some chortling and snorting!

I know Elaine Paige from the 1980s when she sang 'I Know Him So Well' with Barbara Dickson.

I looked at this thread on the off chance there were other people who find Elaine Page's laugh irritating and unpleasant.
I am overwhelmed to find I'm far from being unusual.
BBC and Elaine...please take the hint!
