Travel abroad - needing oxygen.

Good afternoon everyone 😊.

I have a friend who needs to use oxygen when on travels, she would like to go on holiday abroad this year but is in no-man's-land as to how this would work out regarding getting the oxygen to her wherever she is on holiday ( she knows that she wouldn't be able to take oxygen on an aeroplane )

Thank you for your help in this matter, I can't reassure her because I am also in no-man's-land.

Could she ask her respiratory team for advice, it might be that she could have an 'oxygen concentrator' instead of bottles?

Hi and thank you for your reply.

Yes, she has a concentrator for brief journeys but needs an oxygen cylinder for days out. She has it organised to a tee in this country but its abroad where the confusion lays.

She needs to contact the airline she plans to fly with. They will tell her their rules and regulations.
