Good morning from North Yorkshire. Another bright start. Possible frosty tonight and snow tomorrow.
Hope the MRI goes ok Ash and you get some answers. A taxi home sounds like a good idea.
Harlow Carr still remains mostly under reconstruction. Again I’m pleased I have a membership, I think I would have Ben very disappointed if I’d paid full price. Hopefully by the summer much of the work will be completed.
Its parents group again today. We have someone coming to talk about eating and the difficulties particularly with autistic children. Should be interesting and very informative.
Lots of people off to medical appointments today. Hope all go well.

Good morning from the South Downs where I hope the wind has died down a bit and it has stopped raining.

Dog off for his quarterly strip today - comes back looking and smelling very posh and is always delighted with himself.

Tomorrow have to get up at some ungodly hour as eldest GS has his graduation and the ceremony begins at 10am - the doors shut at 9.15 (why?!) , I have to walk the dog before returning and getting tiddled up - hair, decent clothes etc. we have decided to have a taxi there and back as heavy rain is forecast, and I do not fancy sitting clapping for hours in the damp. Pity he didn’t do one of the arts then it would have been in the afternoon. Perhaps they think engineers get up earlier😄.

Today I will continue with my spring cleaning - so my desk, drawers, bookcase will get cleared out - furniture polished - fireplace cleaned etc that will be enough today.

Today I will go to mass and then on to the market in our little town. Dh probably won’t go fishing due to inclement weather.
I need to buy more wool for the baby blanket I’m crochetting , and some skate wings for our tea from the travelling fish van.

I hope your little dgs’s headaches clear up soon, poor little chap 😢.

Good morning everyone from a bright Northampton, 3°C outside and a fine day forecast.

Felt a complete fool yesterday! Decided to join my walking group, went to the meeting place, no-one there, stood there ages and eventually gave up and started to walk home...... Then remembered that the meeting place had changed, so turned round and managed to intercept the group half way through the walk. Luckily the walk is practically the same every week, so I had a rough idea of where they would be. Walk completed with no further incident, and enjoyed coffee and apple cake at the end of it!

Neighbours and ex-neighbours coming for coffee this morning - sadly one of us is missing as it will be the first get together since our lovely neighbour died, three weeks ago. A sad meeting, but good to be with each other.

A good idea to do birthdate checks Mick; a GP recommended I do a breast check on my birthdate each month, so every 20th of the month that is what I do. In that way anything different or unusual can be caught early.

Home-made beef stew from the freezer for dinner tonight. Before that an afternoon of reading, and update my Sainsbury's order for tomorrow.

Good morning from a dry Black Country where it rained overnight.

A lovely walk around Staffordshire yesterday with my group. We met in DD's village and walked 7 miles! My legs still ache. Then I popped to Mums and took her food shopping.

MrJ is 73 today! He is not impressed and told me not to buy him anything. Fat chance! Will go out for a meal tonight at a lovely canalside gastro pub which is only 10 minutes walk away.

It always mostly seems to be men who won't wear hearing aids Pantglas? MrJ is the same, I am always having to repeat myself!

Good morning everybody. It's a beautiful morning on the Angus coast - sunny with blue pink-tinged sky - but decidedly chilly and frosty at 1°. We have a yellow warning for snow and ice though, and that pesky breeze is still breezing. Let's hope this is winter having its final fling.

Waiting for the house alarm man to arrive and adjust the settings so that I can leave Olive shut in the kitchen when I go out. This cat is proving to be extremely expensive, one way and another! She ventured as far as the sitting room yesterday so is gradually adjusting but obviously the change of residence is not easy for her. She likes attention and is becoming quite vocal so things are going well.

Singing this afternoon and History Society this evening - what passes for a busy day nowadays. Hope everyone has a good enough day.

Good morning Mick and everybody from Carlisle. It's dry with light cloud and the sun just might pop out now and again.
I pottered around at various jobs yesterday after I'd been into town for fruit and veg, it's a pity none are available in walking distance.
This morning, I'll do the bathrooms and then await my telephone appointment with the doc later on. Yet again a different doc! None of them are ever the ones listed on their website.

The afternoon will be given up to reading and just maybe a spot of planting in the garden though snow is forecast tomorrow.

I hope the MRI scan went well Ashcombe. I found the head one particularly noisy but no after effects noted.

GD1 is going to call in after college and DS after work. We will have an early dinner and then we will go shopping.
They will need to leave reasonably early as the weather forecast is not good for where they live, a 45 minute drive from me.
Big pan of soup made last night with all the carrots I had left from the weekend.

Good morning from Glasgow. It isn’t raining….yet and we have quite a bit of blue sky with the sun attempting to break through.

Should the rain stay away there is a good chance I could spend some time in the garden before a Waitrose shop, late afternoon when the store is quieter. Most importantly it’s time to buy more daffodils and tulips which never fail to brighten up my day.

Your stained glass class sounds interesting Llfl. Something I would enjoy doing but so far all I have done is play around with glass paints for different effects on two small leaded windows, at least I can remove it if it is a disaster.

Both GC were really fun this week GD3 on Monday. She wanted to make a homemade jigsaw from cutout card. GS2 yesterday and we walked 1.8 mins which he loved. He loves jigsaws and can do a 40 piece one in about 3 minutes. Not bad for 2. He also loves unscrewing and putting back together his plastic cars from Amazon. As soon as he was dropped off home he started fighting with his sister.

Big event today is the delivery of an induction cooker to replace old gas hob and electric oven. I wish we had a built in oven as I find it hard to get stuff in and out of the oven these days.

Good morning from a dry Sefton where that elusive sun is forecast for later🌞Despite torrential rain on our drive to N Wales yesterday we had a lovely time meeting up with our former singing group at their 10th anniversary lunch. Hadn't seen any of them since the first lockdown so a lot of catching up was done. I can't believe it's been 10:years since we started that group.
Another busy day today although a more relaxed start as my 9.15 zoom exercise class had to be cancelled. Pilates later this morning. A quick lunch then off to pickup GD1 from nursery. We still stay for our tea. A regular no cooking day😀. I like Wednesdays.

Busy morning here. Dgd arrived for breakfast and escort to schoo, gardener came to trim our 30ft hedge then Sainsbury’s delivery just as the hedge was finished, then washing hung out.
Off to my exercise bike and read all your news.
Out for a meal tonight, too tired to cook 😀.

Good morning Mick and all from a cloudy bit of Berks. I didn't get to read yesterdays posts, as I had an early, for me, blood test appointment. 9.10 am 😱. After that I had my Vit B12 injection. Then into the Church coffee shop for a restorative coffee and toasted tea cake. Well, it had been a long time since breakfast.
Today our lovely cleaning fairy has been and tidied us all up and left everywhere sparkling.
I repaired a sleeve seam in a jacket belonging to our GD, then
after a phone call from one of the oncology nurses, another coffee, then think about what to have for dinner tonight, as I am being picked up for my infusion at 1 pm. It's all go here at Auntieflo Towers!
This evening, hopefully, the chap who gave us a quote for changing the bath to a walk in shower, will be here to have a chat. He went very quiet for ages, and I thought that he didn't want the job. But 🤞all will be well. I sent for samples of Wall Panels, and they are not at all like the brochure colours.
What to do? At least I did find 7 big wall tiles, under the bath, from when we had the bathroom renovated a few years ago, so that may save on one panel.

Good morning Mick and all from 4° Sunnyside northwest coast.
My dodgy tummy is settling down, fingers crossed, the bane of my life alongside my back…still I went along to music club yesterday as I was in charge but it was a struggle. I sang indifferently, at one stage with a big frog in my throat in Lagan Love😨

Off to lunchtime recital soon and meeting up with fellow music club member for coffee etc. Out again tonight to a show.
