Does anyone have a favourite Easter egg ? My son's love the peanut butter ones. I love the wispa ones and my daughter...., Anything as long as it has chocolate ! .Hubby can't have as he's diabetic. Yes I know it's weeks till Easter, but it's just something fun to talk about.

The Chocolate buttons one for me. They are in the shops so it would be rude not to........

My favourite too

I love the chocolate buttons that come with an egg.
They seem extra nice.

Any, so long as not the same as last year, whatever that was. Kit Kat?
I just like things varied. And not super expensive.

Who's got one hidden away for later? grin

Italian Easter eggs for me. You can't get the full range over here but in Italy they are works of art. The ones they make for children are fantastic and always have a toy attached. When we lived there my son was given one surrounded by a toy sweet shop, complete with scales and little jars of sweets and another with a lovely pop up book inside (which we still cherish). You don't see anything like that over here, not that I've seen anyway.

As long as they are chocolate I do not care what type it is.

Any and all….last week, I bought 10 Easter Eggs for family as they were half price, I am considering getting sponsored to NOT EAT THEM….they are sooooo calling to me!

I admire your willpower. In a weak moment I ate my grandson's Easter Egg and have had to replace it. blush

Still got 8!

I had an ice cream today, (first one of the year), with smashed Mini Eggs in it! 😋

MissAdventure Sat 02-Mar-24 17:28:56

That looks delicious!

Joseann Sat 02-Mar-24 17:33:27

Yes, the soft, but crunchy, texture was just right.

And lovely sunshine made it taste even better too!!

MissAdventure Sat 02-Mar-24 17:35:06

It's all about the crunch.
I could just eat that, even though its rainy and horrible here.

The Chocolate Orange Twirl ones are lovely. It's a shame Orange Twirls are limited Edition.

MissAdventure Fri 08-Mar-24 21:56:02

I didn't know there were chocolate orange swirls!
Why wasn't I kept informed of this? grin

MissAdventure Fri 08-Mar-24 21:56:22

Oh twirls!!

TheMostSuprisingGran Fri 08-Mar-24 22:08:45

Yes, Twirls....They should make Orange Swirls though!

Fox's are also making Orange Rocky Bars, at the moment. Some of them may have jumped into my weekly shop. I'm looking forward to those. I have a total weakness for orange flavoured chocolate, it would seem! grin

MissAdventure Fri 08-Mar-24 22:16:10

Oh that sounds just the ticket!!
It's quite lucky that they accidentally fell into your shopping.

MissAdventure Fri 08-Mar-24 22:17:46

Ooh I like the middle part of a terrys chocolate orange!
That big (hopefully!) wedge, with all the layers of segments that have joined together.

John Lewis have a Niederegger egg with small eggs in different flavours of chocolate marzipan. I’m hinting desperately but I know it’s falling on deaf ears. grin Second choice - one with Cadbury’s creme eggs in. Or just a box of Cadbury’s creme eggs would do nicely.

MissAdventure Fri 08-Mar-24 23:04:34

Ooh they're a bit too much for me.
Too sweet and gloopy for someone (me!) who claims not to like chocolate that much.

Maggiemaybe Fri 08-Mar-24 23:05:02

Those Italian ones sound heavenly, flappergirl!

Can there ever be too much gloop, MissA? grin

Maggiemaybe Fri 08-Mar-24 23:06:40

Not for me, there can’t, anyway.

MissAdventure Fri 08-Mar-24 23:07:26

grin
No, I expect not.
I like a crunch in with my gloop though.

Well you just had to didn't you? 🤣🤣 I love Niederegger, only normally see or get them at Christmas, but now I'll be inconsolable if I can't have an Easter egg. I've told DH that Hotel Chocolate is fine as long as it's accompanied by Niederegger in some form 😊

MissAdventure Fri 08-Mar-24 23:19:38

I get hotel chocolat quite regularly, which is a shame, because I really don't like them.
