Good morning all from a cloudy Glasgow, where it is 5°C.
I have an early start. I have to follow SIL to the dealership, to put his car in for a service. (that journey I hate in rush hour). I drew the short straw, nothing gets in the way of DH's golf.🤬. They have bought a new car, but it is somewhere in middle of the ocean in a boat. They have no idea when they will get it, so to maintain the warranty on their present car, it needs serviced.
Since SIL is more patient than DH, before going home, I have enlisted his help with taking items to the charity shop.
Yesterday, I did a shoe cull. I am ashamed to reveal how many pairs of shoes and boots I have and how many are going out.
Many are hardly worn, but my feet have deteriorated badly and I cannot even get my toes in some of the shoes.😔
Poor Dollie had three nose bleeds during Saturday night and late afternoon, we decided to pop in to see how she was. The PP had given me a large Easter egg for her because she is a good girl., so I thought that might cheer her up.
Just as we were approaching their home, a large unfamiliar car passed us. We realised it was DS and Dollie, who were coming in his new car to surprise us!
Dollie was told not to hug me in case she passed any bugs on. 😔 The next moment she sidled up to me and I felt a tiny hand slipping into mine. 💕
GM, just be wary about Easyjet. Not on outward journeys, but on the return ones, Easyjet agents abroad were taking cases and checking to see if they fitted. Mine did, but they wanted to put it in the hold. I refused, because my medication was in it.
I wish you all the best of days, whatever your plans.
