Use of my address without permission

I understand that someone known to me may be proposing to put my address on a form for another. Apologies if that is vague but the person who attempt this is very vengeful and I am not sure what he may do.

The form in question is a Birth Certificate. Where do I stand as far as the law goes, please?

I wonder if there is a distinction between:
(1) the address the registrar asks the informant for (his/her usual abode), and
(2) the place of birth of the baby which appears on the certificate.

wouldn't that usually be the case nowadays, as most births do not happen at the mother's address ??

Both would appear on the certificate Drew, and the information would be given to the registrar by the parent registering the birth.

Posted too soon! OP please see the registrar asap! before you become implicated in something you may well have great difficulty getting out of. If this goes through and you are found to have known what was happening you could be in very hot water! Good luck and act now.
