Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark but dry outside at the moment in brackley this morning.
Today, I will get the bus to Bicester do my usual shop, and cafe stop maybe a beer unsure see how I feel .
I want to use a cashpoint ,as last week the only bank in brackley closed and the cash pt machine was removed , so have to go elsewhere as its handy just to have some cash which seems to be a thing of the past but many older people still like to use cash .
Take Care,
Mick

Good morning from a bright Suffolk after rain last night but a really lovely warm day yesterday.

I have a pedicure this morning and then we are meeting DS and family for lunch. They are staying in a caravan at a holiday park near Great Yarmouth for a few days. DGS3 who is 10 and has never stayed in a caravan before, unlike his sisters, was very excited. He is doing a fossil hunt tomorrow and they have other activities planned for them all.

Hope today is a good one for all, especially for those with worries of any kind.

Good morning everyone from an overcast Northampton,.should stay dry today, but rain expected this evening.

It felt a long day yesterday, but I managed to occupy myself with cooking - using up the left over lamb from Sunday. I made a large batch of shepherd's pie mince, bulked out with carrots and lentils, enough for four meals. Had one portion last night with baked potato and peas, was yummy. The rest will be frozen.

I have a hankering for kedgeree tonight, so need to get some smoked haddock out of the freezer; will make enough for two meals.

A morning of pottering, then out to my health walk after lunch; should stay dry for that. Will be good to have some company.

Have a pleasant day everyone.

Morning from a damp, but sunny S Hants. I’m full of cold, coughing and sneezing, no temp, just bunged up.
Good progress karmalady.
That shower looks a bit scary gMattie, lovely mosaics.
I hope clinic goes well Ashcombe.
We came fourth at quiz last night, our default position, but had a fun evening.
Today is physio, ring podiatrist, gardener and sort out some online ‘paperwork’.

Good morning from a dull, wet and wi day day here on the east coast of Fife.
I’ve had a very very long lie in this morning I think I can be forgiven I’ve a bit of a dull headache and I was kept awake with the wind all through the night.
That’s the end of my chocolate eating frenzy - no more Easter eggs left.
I was a busy lady yesterday I made my favourite mince and tatties and a Chillie con carnie they’re both in the fridge to consume later on today and Thursday. I’ll need to freeze some as I’ve made loads.
Have a good day my friends you know who you are.

Good morning Mick and everyone from grey damp Carlisle.
It rained all yesterday so I stayed in getting shot of necessary chores and then reading.
Today looks like being the same. I had a restless night of strange dreams then woke early so put the radio on for the news and wished I hadn't...so awful. The cure for a poor start is a bit of vigorous vacuuming and 'bottoming' the bathrooms!

I wish you all the best possible day.

Good morning from Malta where the temperature has dropped to a more moderate 21°C. Yesterday hit 34°C which was too hot.🥵

GM what beautiful mosaics! The shower looks complicated, I hope you managed to figure out how to operate it.

I have DD3’s father in law here doing wonders to my front door. It was badly sun damaged and he has been working on it for two weeks to restore it to its former glory.

Babysat the boys yesterday, they were delighting in throwing toys all over the place so I was exasperated by the end of the day.

My lovely new-found Canadian relatives left early this morning. It has been such a special few days and I hope we will meet again.

Like Maw I was awake too early and went back to sleep after a cup of tea. I woke with such a bad headache I’ve had to resort to Panadol extra.

I think I’m going to buy an air fryer today. I have been resisting as I don’t really want another appliance cluttering up my work surface, but having used DD3’s I can see the benefits.

Hope the day is kind to you all.☀️

Good morning all.

Very dull and drizzly here.
We have the plumber here at the moment fixing a new shower. He has to take the tiles off so now we’ve got to hunt for a tiler and new tiles. One job always leads to another doesn’t it! 😤.
We need the plumber at our seaside abode too and hopefully we’ll be up there next week. 🤞.

Bridge this afternoon and if I’ve got any concentration left I’ll go back this evening for another session 😵‍💫.

Good luck with all appointments and hope poorlies feel better soon.
My daughter was a ‘geriatric’ mum- to-be- at the age of 36.

Take care 🌷

Good morning Mick and all from a cool damp Lancashire, currently 7°C.

It rained heavily all day yesterday. We enjoyed meeting up with the family, feeling tired today. The clocks may have changed but my body takes longer to adjust.

Have a good day whatever you’re doing 🌹

Good morning Mick and all from Sunnyside northwest coast.
My tummy is settling down after the barium meal, so yesterday I practised and will go to the music club today and sing.
My cat is not impressed with the latest cat food and walks past it in disdain, only eating it when on the point of starvation…

Flying DD has booked our family holiday in Ibiza in June, she’s an excellent PA😁 Grandmattie unknown showers are the bane of my life, who designs these things? No sign of hot or cold on many of them. Cool tiles though.

Sad news from our small art group as one member passed away a couple of days ago from cancer.
Thoughts to all with worries 🌺

A late good morning from a sunny Oxfordshire, yesterday was typical April Showers, sunny but wet!

I was up until 3 as I couldn’t sleep, so I’ve only just got up! Awful isn’t it? Muzzy headed, whilst MrOops has been out done what he had to do and came back and had breakfast all without me hearing a thing.

We are looking at a house at lunch time so I need to get my wobbly head sorted before I step out of the house. It’s such a pain, still dizzy when I lay down in bed, if I turn over and then when I get up. Last time I had this it was a good few weeks before I was normal, do you remember Rufus? He had the same problem and we used to commiserate with each other….

GM your Athens trip sounds fab, scary shower though.
Marydoll 💐

Hope all those with hospital trips, dental problems and those with general illhealth start to feel a bit better.

Let’s hope it stays sunny.

No longer morning but good afternoon all from a cloudy bristol!
Set out today to get some work done away from home and most libraries are shut! Not sure why as yesterday was the bank holiday but managed to find a comfy place to get my head down without homely distractions.
Saying that, can't wait to get home, check on the daffodils and have a nice cup of tea (that is less than £4!)
Also sending well wishes to you Marydoll.
Wishing you all a happy Tuesday!
