Good Morning Everyone,
Up early its dark but dry outside here in brackley at the moment.
Busy start to the day once breakfasted will get ready for the coach trip to Weston -S -Mare .
The coach journey starts at brackley with pick ups to Moreton in Marsh ,then onto a service stop at Gloucester services , prior to Weston.
Forecast I gather could be changeable so as its early season will try and get as much shelter if it rains allot .
Take Care,
Mick

Good morning everyone from a bright and sunny 🌞 Northampton. Forecast to stay dry and sunny, but with strong winds.

Shall pop on the bus later to the shops, have a coffee and a mooch around, not much to get on my shopping list. Must look for a present for a friend whose birthday is in about 10 days.

A lovely visit to an ex-neighbour's new bungalow yesterday. Had the grand tour, but you can practically see every room from the hall. She has just come back from an eventful holiday ski-ing in Canada, where she managed to tear a knee ligament on her first day! She thinks she may have to have surgery on it, and is waiting for an MRI scan. Was good to have a catch-up and eat home-made banana bread.

Did not do a lot when I got back, a light lunch, and then started my Bill Bryson book 'Down Under', which as you can guess, is about his travels in Australia. He is a very amusing writer.

Hope you have a good day in Weston, Mick - had frequent day-trips as a child, as it was the nearest seaside resort to my home in Wiltshire. Hope.you see the sea!

Wishing that all have a good day.

Good morning from a sunny Suffolk where 21 is forecast! The Bristol lot are so pleased they chose to come to us now!

A busy but very pleasant evening and looking forward to another day together. Fish and chips from the well renowned shop in Aldeburgh and a walk with the dogs on the beach beckons but later as the 3 teenagers don’t start their day during holidays til at least mid morning and would prefer it to be midday. How they manage to be up and ready to leave the house well before 8am on school days I’ll never know.

Very windy but not actually raining at the moment but the forecast is not very promising so another indoor day. Have been lent the DVD of Oppenheimer so think that is this afternoon catered for. Hope gMattie recovers soon -I find travelling shattering these days - and that everyone else not well has a better day.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs from a sunny South Yorkshire but it’s windy again. It was blowing a hoolie all day yesterday. Hope you enjoy your trip to Weston, Mick. It’ll do you good to have a change of scenery.
I fell asleep in front of the tv last night! DS is coming down today and staying overnight. I’ve no doubt I shall rope him in for all sorts of odd jobs while he’s here, and hopefully a walk out if the weather holds. He has a late kickoff football match to go to tomorrow so will probably leave here mid afternoon.
Have the best day you can, folks.

Good morning from North Yorkshire. The sun has just peeped out. It was raining 20 minutes ago!
I have laundry to do then I’m going to try to do some gardening (again). I’m hoping to get dahlias and begonias planted and sort some pots. The paving is in need of power washing, the lawn scarifying and feeding but I need a few dry days…..
Enjoy your trip Mick. I don’t think I’ve been to Weston.
💐for all of you feeling not so good today.

Good morning all.

Four men turned up on Thursday at 8am to redo our front garden. All was going really well until lunchtime when exceedingly heavy showers began to fall every 10 minutes and they had to call it a day at 3:30. I felt very sorry for them as they lost a load of cement in the rain and some topsoil. They came back yesterday afternoon but didn’t have enough time to finish before 6:30 so will do so this afternoon. Photos taken just after they left on Thursday.

Went out for a very good Indian last night. Black bean stir fry for dinner tonight.

Have a good day everyone. I hope that you all get some sun though I can’t see any atm.

Good morning from a mild NE where we have had overnight rain.
Enjoy your trip to Weston Mick, my DIL is from there.
Our lunch was very late yesterday because the restaurant was busy, I passed on the starter as the portions are quite big but had main course of chicken with truffle sauce.
We left home early to travel to The Sage as we anticipated heavy traffic, for once all the traffic lights were in our favour and we were able to get into to the car park easily.
The concert was good, it was a full house.
DD and SIL are on an early train home to Brussels tomorrow.
DS and GD2 will visit this afternoon.
Sorry to hear you are poorly grandMattie.

Lipstick you need to start your own thread as posting on the Good Morning thread may mean your question could be missed.

Good morning Mick and all from a windy northwest coast. We have storm warnings, meant to start last night, but not so bad (yet).
I turned up for art yesterday, but it starts next week, silly sosig. No matter, I had things to do, but felt off colour and glad to come home. Seems I’m not the only one here.

I’m carrying on neighbours’s cat feeding duties, she’s very sweet but so shy, unlike her sister, who lives here most of the time and is cheeky.
Enjoy your day Mick and thoughts to all with worries 🌺

Good morning all. For the first time in a week the rain is not battering against the windows, and there is a chance of sunshine late afternoon. I hope it means I can have a soggy walk in the garden.
I had a lovely meet up with an old friend yesterday. We used to enjoy walking and talking together in my hillwalking and rambling days - it was so good to catch up.
Enjoy your bus trip today Mick and everyone else with plans enjoys their day - and misses the rain. Lovely to hear of all the warm sunshine 'down south'.
Sorry for tales of coughs and 'not wellness' - the result of this long damp winter I suspect.
Grandmattie that night of only two hours' sleep is catching up with you I think.
Nothing planned here except a kitchen blitz today. Enjoy your weekend everyone 🦋🌞
