Its twilight but it remains dry here in brackley .
Yesterdays trip to Weston -S-Mare was OK very windy , lots about as well , some on the coach were in seaside mood , buying rock , ice cream etc overall a good day out .
Today a day of cycling on TV , besides doing general things .
Take Care,
Mick

Karmalady , me for The Archers too. Did you remember it now starts at 11am? As I usually cycle while listening my routine will be upset 😂.
DH hoping to cut back lawn while I dog proof the house. The grand dogs arrive this afternoon for 8 days, while their family fly off to Tenerife.
Hope the poorlies feel better soon. Have a good Sunday everyone.

Good morning from Glasgow sunny, but still very windy.

Good to hear you enjoyed your trip Mick.

I planned to chill yesterday, but after sorting the website, the PP phoned to say the sound system wasn't working. I eventually found a faulty cable, therefore my task today is to source the necessary part. I am a bid odd, I always loved troubleshooting technology problems when I was working.
I went into the walk in safe, to find an Easter gift from a parishioner, a bottle of wine. It just happened to be my favourite. It is nice to be appreciated.

Today is the Catholic cemetery mass, so my friend, the young sacristan and I had to make up the boxes with everything necessary. Think of a portable church.
Situated above the town, the cemetery is very exposed, it will be rather windy. There are usually about 1000 people there.
While packing the boxes, I got a text informing me of my spring Covid booster appointment.
I'm just getting over the shingles one! 😔

I have been asked for lunch at DS1's, while the menfolk watch the football. I don't know how Dollie is going to tell me all her news, we are not allowed to talk while the game is on. 😉

GG, I hope the steroids do their magic and the side effects die down and that the poorlies improve.
Have a good day folks, whatever your plans.

Good morning everyone it’s been very wet and windy during the night here on the east coast of Fife. I’m going to be making cauliflower and cheese sauce with my sister today.
No church my friend is unable to take me. It’ll be delicious even if I say so myself I make the best roux ever with a touch of mustard yum yum

Have a good day my friends

Good morning from a bright but blustery Sefton. Huge puddles on the road due to torrential overnight rain but no rain forecast for the rest of the day.
Managed an hour in the garden yesterday but eventually gave up as it was so windy. Not even going to try to get out there today. Last night our team came joint 2nd in our local musical theatre company's fundraising quiz mainly due to the efforts of our DS2 & DiL.
Off out for breakfast soon to a canalside cafe then, suitably fortified, some food shopping. We will drive to the supermarket from the cafe along country roads enjoying all the signs of spring along the way.
Hope today is kind to everyone.

Good morning Mick and all from a very windy Sunnyside northwest coast. Another quiet day yesterday reading the ballet dancer Lynn Seymour’s autobiography. It’s ghosted but still a good read.
My neighbours arrive home today, so that’s the end of my ten day cat feeding duties, I hope they don’t have a bumpy landing, the same with my flying DD who flies in from New York today. We had a FaceTime last night and she always shows me her hotel room and her view (skyscrapers).

The day out will do you good Mick, sorry you are saying goodbye to a good priest Ashcombe, hope you get your ceiling sorted Grammaretto and thoughts to all with worries 🌺

Morning from a breezy, dull S Hants, the wind last night rearranged the patio furniture and blew over my bay tree, no damage thoug.
Weston sounds lovely Mick a good day out. Enjoy the party Bellasnana, hope the twins will too.
My blood test results online yesterday showed a decent cholesterol drop, hopefully enough to keep my GP happy.
Today I’ll sow some seeds and hope we’re past frost, probably overly optimistic.
The cough is slowly abating, about time as it does my hernia no good.

Good morning Mick and everyone from breezy Carlisle. It's looking like a day of showers, again. Yesterday it was a case of 'storm, what storm?', Kathleen didn't turn up here as forecast, it was merely very windy in the afternoon and warm with it.

It's probably not going to be a gardening day today so I'll catch up with various tedious little jobs that have been on my conscience, interspersed with reading the papers and magazines.
I hope your leak and ceiling damage are soon resolved Grammaretto, you seem to be keeping admirably calm...

Have a good day everyone.

Good morning from yet another dull and grey Black Country, where it has just started raining again!

We had a sound bar delivered yesterday as we both struggle with hearing the TV, took a while to set up, but think it is ok now.

No real plans today. MrJ is on a bike ride, but it may be cancelled now as it's tipping it down.

Wishing you all the best day possible.

Good morning from a sunny but very windy NE.
DS and GD2 came yesterday afternoon, they had lunch and we caught up with family news. DS went out for a walk but GD and I declined, way too windy.
We had an early dinner as GD1 wanted picking up in Durham after a meal out with friends. While we were having coffee we heard she was home so GD had time to play the piano for me, she plays Debussy beautifully but she enjoys Einaudi and usually finishes with one of his pieces.
DD is on her way home to Brussels but it won't be too long before I see her again as it is only a month until we go on holiday.
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning from a sunny Co Armagh, I think the weather could be described as “ Brisk “ , sunny chilly and a stiff breeze , at least it’s a wee bit calmer than yesterday
No Mass in our village on the first Sunday of the month , I caught it on the iPad last night , very comforting to hear the Priest speak directly to those of us on the web cam
I have discovered how to record Th Archers on my new Sky box , some other features on it are beyond me
Wishing everyone a best day

Good morning all and it’s sunny but still a bit breezy.

GG hope you get a nap in today. 😴😴.
Gramaretto how awful for you. Hope you get it fixed asap.🤞.
Liberty that’s handy to know about the pub . They always had a bench outside the front where people could sit and wait, and have a drink while their friends ordered the F and C, but as you say, very enterprising having tables and seats in their courtyard. We usually sit on the seafront and have ours, weather permitting of course, with the seagulls.😬.

Not much on here today. Dd isn’t great so she’ll stay home and rest. DS1 and DIL will pop in for a cuppa at some stage.

Take care and enjoy the day, and hope it’s a good one, whatever it brings . 🌷

Good morning from a bracing windy Cornwall. Mega late for me because I got distracted first thing trying to create a dark teal emulsion from turquoise and black, to create a visually separate corner for my new desk. Think I've got there.

Spent £5 yesterday at my fave charity shop = jacket potato with cheese, mug of tea, DVD 25p, book on sculpture 10p, Joules dungarees and a wool mix purple jacket, the last two 50p each. Crazy prices and yet the owner makes thousands and thousands to help teenagers with cancer.

Today... painting, then church at 4o'clock.

Good morning from a very windy East Midlands. Hope you all have a fabulous sunday. Finishing off my cardigan today and I will post a photo soon.
