Good Morning Everyone,
Its just getting daylight , looks clear and dry outside as well here in brackley .
Today , the usual bus journey to Bicester I always seem to meet up with former work colleagues in the town itself .
Return home ,and then get a Chinese Take Away later in the afternoon .
Take Care,
Mick

Good morning from a bright sunny Cambridgeshire. A quiet day planned today. Off to the local farm shop for meat and veg first thing then a bit of pottering in the garden

Have a good day everyone💐

Good morning all from the Scottish Borders where raindrops keep falling on my head 🎶
Seriously, the roof is still leaking and ceiling dripping. I don't know what to do! The roofer has "sorted" it 3 times to no avail. Do I sack him?

Community café today.

Happy 1st birthday to Babydoll
I hope you can go to the party.

Safe travels pantglas

Enjoy your special day Sar
Get well soon all poolie ones.
Have a pleasant weekend everyone.

Good morning from a sunny W Kent. The family meal last night was enjoyed by all. I sat next to my SIL and had a good chat to him. DB is staying for the weekend so we will see what the day brings.
Best wishes to all

Morning all from what is expected to be another warm sunny day here in S E Essex.

DS4 was home home yesterday evening with his (according to him) very unflattering off-trend compression bra! We will wander down and visit him later this afternoon.

The garden is beckoning me first, some tinkering and pottering is needed.

Have a good day, I will now read your posts 🙋‍♀️

Good morning from Shropshire. After a sunny day yesterday rain is forecast again for this morning.

I made an appointment with the car dealership to look at cars yesterday.Amazingly there was a suitable car available which we collected at 5pm.We have gone for an automatic for the first time.

Today DGS1 is coming for a sleepover. He doesn’t stay away from home so it’s a big deal but DD and SIL are going to a ball.We are meeting them at the motorway services to collect B so the car will have a good first run.B thinks we have bought a new blue car especially to drive him round in!

I hope you feel well enough to attend Babydoll’s first birthday party Marydoll and that Dollie is feeling better too.

Enjoy the ballet Ash.You must all be very proud of your granddaughter.

Have the best day you can everyone🦩

Good morning from a dull but dry Black Country.

Had a lovely day with my friend yesterday. Train to Birmingham, coffee stop. Then a tapas lunch where we had 3 for £10 each, with a voucher from the website. So 6 to share. Wander round the shops where I still cannot spend my Next voucher!

No real plans today. MrJ is in Bristol, so I hope to cut the lawn as no rain for a couple of days. It will be the first cut of the year.

Wishing you all the best day possible.

A very quick morning all from West Oxfordshire. I am off to London shortly. I am meeting my daughter and granddaughter and we’re going to the Young V&A. Annoyingly I woke with the first migraine this year but I’ve taken a sumatriptan.
Have a good day.

Domestic morning and tea with a neighbour this afternoon will be lovely. If the weather gods are kind may get some time in the garden which is full of blossom and tulips just now and a source of great pleasure and much twittering as various small birds stake their claim on nest sites.

Everyone sounds busy; hope Mdoll makes it to the first birthday party and that other plans come to fruition.

Good morning all from a dull but dry Black country.
Still aching after my fall so will have another quiet day. Friends coming later be good to catch up.
Usual full English calling so will catch up with everybody's happenings later.
Safe travels those on the move, best wishes anyone celebrating and virtual hugs where needed.
Enjoy your day everyone whatever your plans and may you all find some ☀️.

Good morning everyone from Severnside. Although the sky is grey no rain is forecast so I hope to go out into the garden today.

I’ve been watching The Cotswolds with Pam Ayers this week and I think she’s been following me around 🤣

I’ll go and make another cuppa and then catch up on all your news for today.

Have a good day all and safe travels ✈️🌷

Grammaretto have you spoken to your insurance company.DD’s ceiling collapsed late last year and the insurance sorted a builder for her.

Morning from South Lanarkshire where it’s dull at the moment, but dry. Back home from sunny Aberdeenshire late yesterday afternoon and am rather weary. Lots of domestic tasks await and I hope to fit in a visit this afternoon to my friend with short term memory loss. I haven’t seen her for quite a few weeks and am feeling bad about it.

I hope you make the birthday party Marydoll and yes, I think you should search for another roofer Grammaretto!

Wishing everyone the best day possible, enjoy your lovely gardens and I hope you find your son well GrannyGravy

Morning all from a cloudy S Hants. Safe journey Pantglas 🌞 should await you.
Yesterday was glorious, bedding dried outside smells lovely, our local yesterday had the outside tables fully occupied.
MrJ is taking our grandson to football this afternoon, I’ll be pootling in the greenhouse, mindful the weather reverts to normal tomorrow.
Todays paper will keep me quiet this morning.

Good morning from South Lanarkshire where we have grey skies yet again.

My sister went home on Thursday evening it was great to spend a few days with her.

DH and I had a long day at DS’s yesterday as it was DoutL’s birthday so we had said we’d stay on so they could go out for a meal together which is a rare treat for them. The children were very good but it’s tiring.

Not a lot happening today though so no rush to go anywhere.

Have the best day possible everyone.

Beechnut Sat 13-Apr-24 09:24:57

Lovely photos of your flowers today just what’s needed to cheer us up. Your cushions are lovely too GM.

Good morning Mick and all from a dull northwest coast.
Art group yesterday and as always, nice chat. A bite to eat in town and a frustrating time at the bank with my mobile phone trying to get online banking. I have it on my IPad at home, and although I had all my details, it wasn’t having it. I will have to go in with both to set it up…
Cat is very pleased as she now has her favourite cat food. I held out to use up what I had and she was very sniffy about it indeed.

Today to an art workshop arranged by a very good artist friend. I should practise for upcoming concert, but have sung so much my voice is tired.
Enjoy the ballet Ash, beautiful cushion GM and thoughts to all with worries 🌺

Grammaretto Sat 13-Apr-24 12:07:03

Thanks for the tip Susan and well done on finding your next car so swiftly.
