Good morning all from Glasgow, where it is cloudy and 10°C
Baubles it was lovely here too, that bit of sunshine lifts our flagging spirits.
Susan, I hope your trip went well.
Pants, you are a tease! My idea of heaven, Mr MD's of hell.
GM, I do like the idea of your walking tour. About fifteen years ago, I was awarded funding to study in Lyon for a week. There were students from all over Europe, we were forbidden from speaking our native language for the whole time and had to converse with each other in French. It was so difficult not to speak English for a week!
Initially, I was very rusty, ( I graduated in 1976), but was surprised at how quickly everything came back to me.
Welcome,Puss to this lovely thread,
I'm off to church this morning, with my tin hat on having had little sleep (again). Mr MDoll, somehow manages to sleep through all my moans and groans. 😡
Today is the penultimate First Communion Class and everyone is desperate to know about seating arrangements. It has been top secret, heaven knows why?
Last night, I counted the pews. We can seat 700, but it won't be enough to accommodate everyone. 😱
The PP will need to revise his plan and I will need to get my thinking cap on!
Have the best day folks and good wishes for all, who are struggling.
P.S. GM, by Blue Badge guide, I initially thought the guide was disabled! I am not entirely with it!
