Wet and Forget doesn’t actually clean your patio and paths like a jet washer does though, it kills the moss and algae. I’ve always found I need both. I like power tools, they make life much easier, but I always try to restrict my activities to the mornings, as most people are active doing something then so I hope it bothers them less. The only exception is the grass, which is easier to cut later in the day when it’s dry - sorry mae13.

Can't even cut our grass yet. The mower would sink because the ground is so wet.

I jet wash my patio . I find it quite therapeutic. If I didn’t it would get slippery with moss.
DH has been mowing the lawn and doing the hedges both with petrol driven gadgets and yes he does love a gadget .
I hope the OPs neighbour doesn’t start doing DIY

At the risk of being accused of advertising Have you tried Wet and Forget. It’s brilliant on moss etc. or use it after jet wash to keep it clean longer

I now use Wet and Forget, which lasts 1-2 years, so I got rid of the jet washer.

My son has very kindly did our front drive this morning. Yes, it was noisy for about 3 hours, but he did a fantastic job and we can now see pink block paving instead of black! I was very grateful and put up with the noise for the sake of a sparkling clean drive. Probably won't be done for another few years!

Nor me. Power washers are very useful and my husband will be making a lot of noise with his when it stops raining. Three areas of slabs to be blasted. He spent useful time with the mower at the weekend. The OP wouldn’t have liked the time he spent with his very noisy drill last week but I am pleased with the results. Fortunately nesting birds will see the hedge trimmer residing in the shed until autumn.

Not sure how you expect him to power wash a patio and cut the grass quietly.

We used to have an old gardener in our communal gardens who would spends hours with a very noisy leaf blower, whether there were any leaves or not. We used to reckon it was to look busy and avoid doing any actual gardening (we did get rid of him).

We use Wet and Forget on the back patio and path but it would cost a fortune to do the drive. We use soda crystals to kill off the moss on the drive but the power washer to clean it all off. We only do it every couple of years.

I strim and cut our grass, it has to be done, our patio is jet washed so it’s doesn’t become slippery, should have done ours earlier this year before I slipped!

Our neighbour has 3 metre square turfed area it's not large enough to be a lawn. When I hear the petrol mower go on I have to go out. It gets mowed for nearly two hours then he gets the strimmer out for just as long it drives me mad.

Oh dear. Well, yesterday I mowed my lawn with a battery operated mower, and a battery operated strimmer. We're both beyond the days of push mowers. In a few weeks I'll be power washing my drive to remove all the moss and dirt.
