Prince Harry will not meet the King during UK visit.

Seems a bit harsh? All that way too. He landed in the UK a few hours ago. Without Meghan and the children.

From the Telegraph just now:

“ The Duke of Sussex will not meet the King this week, the Telegraph can reveal.

Prince Harry, 39, landed in London on Tuesday morning and had made no secret of his hopes to see his father during his visit.

But a spokesperson for the Duke said: “In response to the many inquiries and continued speculation on whether or not The Duke will meet with his father while in the UK this week, it unfortunately will not be possible due to His Majesty’s full programme.

“The Duke of course is understanding of his father’s diary of commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon.”

I just think if the King doesn't ’find time’ to see his son then Harry might well just think ‘sod it’ next time/if he comes over.

I know Harry bad mouthed the family in his book ‘Spare’ but still …

MissA is succinct and a refreshing voice on these threads.

However, I don't think the posts talking about experiences of estrangement on this thread should be seen as "rubbish".

Whatever she did would be pulled to pieces on these threads

I thought Meghan did a brilliant job amongst the Grenville community. 👏

I'm not pulling her to pieces at all, just offering her some advice, (and a few fashion tips thrown in!)

She's always been an advocate of women's rights.

However, her speeches when she was younger, pre-Harry, were very good but have lost the impact they had.
Without the constraints of being a working member of the Royal Family, I think they could be more impactful.
