Good morning from a grey, damp but,so far,not raining north Norfolk.

Yesterday there was torrential rain, the like of which I rarely see. It was much too wet to walk about so we got a bus into Norwich, had coffee in M&S where we sat at a table next to someone who used to work for me,her husband who we knew and their 2 charming daughters.

We got a bus back to the hotel and had a couple of hours to read before going out to the restaurant we love for dinner which was excellent.

The paddle boarders are already in the sea which is quite rough. Hopefully it is stays more or less dry we can enjoy the walks around heee we know well.

Hope today is a good one for all especially those with worries or ill health concerns.

Grey skies and promised rain so a good thing I have no outdoor plans today apart from a group service in the smallest church in our Benefice. It is dedicated to the Holy Trinity so on Trinity Sunday it is appropriate that we gather there. Nothing else planned but the day will unfold slowly. Sorry to read that Marydoll is still so unwell and hope for better news soon.

Good morning from soggy South Lanarkshire.

I’m groggy following a very disturbed night due to medical device malfunctions (a phrase I’ve borrowed from harrigran), The last twenty four hours have been difficult actually, sometimes I think it would be easier if I could just take a pill for nutrition. Hey ho onwards we go.

Mass this morning, we have a couple of weeks of stand in priests before our next temporary one starts. Would be good to have someone permanent.

This evening we are eating out at our local hotel. Extended family members were kind enough to give DH and me various vouchers for our birthdays at the end of last year and I’ve been using them up one a month since then, spreading the love.

Wishing everyone a good day especially those not in the best of health.

Good morning all and it’s damp and dreary .

Thank you so much for all your get well wishes for DD. Also PMs, so very kind of you all. ❤️.
Scan results showed ‘an infection’ 🤷🏻‍♀️. Maybe a colonoscopy today. I doubt it as it’s Bank Holiday.

Little DGD has her swimming lesson today and maybe we’ll visit her mum but they don’t really allow children on the wards now. We’ll see.

I hope your days are happy ones.🌸

Well no injection for me. I read the instructions and cannot have the meds if I have an infection. I certainly do have one!
Oh well!

DH can't get into his safe, do I have the key?
I have a SPARE key, where is yours?
I put it somewhere safe. Grrrrr

Good morning from a dull but dry so far Sefton. The forecast looks ominous. I didn't manage to get all my plants potted up yesterday so had better get on with the day whilst it is still dry. DS1 & DGD1 will be calling round mid afternoon after depositing their cat in the 'cat hotel' - it sounds very 5* (might just book in there myself!) They are off to N Wales for a short break as it's halfterm. We will all go to a local restaurant for an early dinner. Yay! Another no cooking day.
Wishing you all a good day .

Good morning everyone from a very damp and overcast Northampton; will not be out and about today.

It was lovely to meet Maw at the theatre yesterday afternoon, and the ballet was much enjoyed; I had a.brilliant seat with no-one in front of me. Such beautiful and handsome.young dancers! They did excerpts from several ballets, so there was a really good variety. Maw and I found a nearby coffee shop afterwards and had a good catch-up. We could talk for England!

Nothing planned for today or tomorrow - will finish reading yesterday's papers and then on to today's. May watch a film this afternoon.
Roast chicken tonight.

Have a good Sunday everyone.

Good morning everyone from south Manchester where is has rained overnight. Alexa tells me it’s 13°C here with a high of 16°C expected.

Well, well, well, the Man. Utd team won the ⚽️ at Wembley! Most unexpected and Himself clapped and roared his approval. Apparently sorry for Newcastle who have now been knocked out of a European placement.

We are picking up my stepfather and going to his favourite Italian restaurant for lunch. It’s always good to spend time with him although we do phone one another every day.

Bellasnana I love how you and your friend FaceTime one another every Sunday! What a great way of keeping in touch and up to date with news. My stepfather and his 99y old brother chat on the phone (neither has internet) every Sunday evening.
