Do you dislike wearing makeup as I do?

I too wear a little make-up everyday. I always use a good moisturiser then a tinted moisturiser, mascara, eyebrow pencil, and blusher. If I remember I put a little colour on my lips. For special occasions a very light eye shadow.

I wear make up every day. It's part of me taking hold of my day and feeling in control.
It's pretty muted, most people don't notice - but if I'm unwell (cold, covid etc) I don't put it on then and I get loads of sympathy for how rough I'm looking.

I have never worn foundation. I don’t like the feeling of it, nor the appearance. It can look really awful on an older, lined face but so many older ladies really plaster it on. I use a face primer which gives a soft finish and blurs lines and pores. I wear taupe eyeshadow and grey eye pencil every day and tinted lip balm, perhaps a touch of concealer under my eyes if I’m looking tired. Maybe a little mascara too if I’m going out, but not too much. I agree with Tiley, as we age less is definitely more.

Sorry Yongy but I love my makeup and wear it every day, whether I’m staying in or going out. I honestly don’t think anyone has seen me without makeup in living memory!
Less is more, I’ve got it down to a fine art and don’t come downstairs in the morning until my face is on - it only takes a few minutes. I’ve told the DDs I’ll come back and haunt them if I’m not wearing eye liner and mascara in my box!

I like makeup at present using Number 7 from Boots but go for a natural look. There is nothing more aging than too much plastered on as we get older. Their new sun repair damage serum is brilliant and over time really does start to smooth out lines. I always use a good facial sun cream like La Roche posay which is not thick or greasy.

I wear makeup when I go out. I don’t over apply though. A bit of concealer, then a powder foundation, and a bit of blusher. A little eyeshadow and mascara and a slick of a natural colour lipgloss completes my look. It improves me in my opinion. I look better with it than without.

I don't wear makeup these days, I dislike the feeling of it on my face. I did allow makeup to be applied in the past when I appeared on TV programmes and films, however when I did some filming more recently I refuse to have it applied.

Some women put so much of it on it certainly doesn't improve their looks, and could damage their skin.
