What's weird is, that I'm abroad and have spoken to more people today than I do in town back home. That's because we don't have markets where you speak to individual stallholders, a proper butcher, and a wine shop (long chat!). Followed by at least 4 intrigued people asking about my dog, (no idea why), a bar attendant and just now a man at the bins at the end of the lane!!

Saturday is a good day for me. The church holds a ‘coffee and chat’ morning every week - we take turns to serve. Today was mine, so I greeted most of the 18-20 “customers”.
Other than that, no one

So today I’ve seen and talked to:

Five separate friends and neighbours up at the cricket club

There’ll be more as we’re taking our friend to a couple of local pubs tonight.

Yesterday I only talked to DH and myself as I went nowhere.

Face to face: my husband, and youngest daughter-in-law and granddaughter.

Texts etc: oldest son, three friends, and my sister

Lots of chat to friend over coffee this morning.
Usual WhatsApp with the DDs, who are off to Girls Aloud later.
Spoke to 2 male shoppers in Sainsbury’s and lady on checkout.
Long chat with NDN to warn her to keep her windows closed while I have builders here - working outside from Monday - it’s going to get dirty and dusty!
