It’s spam. Hopefully GNHQ will delete them, but still they come………

Why do all these spammers bother? They only post rubbish after all.

I think they get paid for each ‘message ‘ they leave. More money if anyone clicks on their link.

It is just another spammer - not a hacker, just someone who is using a list of social media sites as his/her bulk emailing marketing list to fire off ads to. They probably bought the list off someone else and are hoping to make their fortune from selling their illegal services to all of us grannies who they think are old and decrepit.

They don't need to hack their way in - they just join as if they are old grannies too, and post an ad a minute until they are deleted and banned. Don't encourage them by replying on their threads, just report them to GN and then ignore them. They are no danger to anyone else (unless you buy from them and risk telling them your bank details.)

Obviously you don’t come on GN much Mae13 It’s been going on for weeks It ll get cleared then tomorrow there ll be new ones, never ending clean outs

Do you get a lot of paper flyers through your letterbox, Mae13, which you throw straight into the recycling bin with even reading? This is the same thing but online. They don't need to break into your house to deliver the flyers, and the spammers don't need to hack into the website to post messages on a chat website.
