Shoe Laces

Some are designed and sold without so have eyelets but no laces.
You can also buy spiral laces in various colours that are easy to fasten/ unfasten and can be loose. Originally designed for sport, they are recommended for those with additional needs or fine manipulative difficulties.

Isn’t GN wonderful. I had never heard of these before but I have just ordered them for all my trainers. My arthritic fingers have trouble tying shoelaces so I hope these will be a great help.

Why not just wear slip-ons? I always have laces on my trainers as I think they support my feet more. I'm not going to stop doing this for reasons of fashion.

I wear elasticated laces in my trainers. No fastening to do so they're essentially a slip on but look tidily laced up!

I bought some elastic laces for my new sketchers summer shoes. They were easy to put in and trim to the right length, they fasten with a shiny silver screw in thing.

Elastic shoelaces are recommended if one has had a hip replaced because bending down to tie a lace could dislocate a hip.

Slip-ons are not always comfortable unless they fit well.

All my trainers etc have either zips or velcro. I do not mean sensible, especially for the disabled shoes, but fun ones with bling on them.

I also do what Starof1972 does and replace the laces with elestic.

I bought some Slip - Ins Sketchers, no laces. They're the most comfortable shoes I've ever had.
