Has anyone any tips for stopping cats pooing in the garden. we have tried cats pepper and also bought a solar appliance that is supposed to stop that but to no avail.

When my kids were small, a cat came into the house through the patio doors unbeknown to us and shat in a large box of small plastic farm animals, soldiers etc.

The stink was the worst ever and the whole box had to be hosed out.

There is nothing worse than cat poo !
Poor you having you having to clean it up .
I used to keep my rice in a wooden box in the larder .
One day , I saw my two cats emerging from the larder and there was a foul smell .
They were using the rice box as a litter box .

Esmay from a cat's point of view I can see that that would seem like a very good idea. Not so much for you but I can see the funny side of it.

We all laughed at the time , but it was really revolting :
My friend's mother made herself a packed lunch for work , leaving it in a wickerwork basket whilst she had a last minute trip to the loo - only to return to find that her cat had opened it , eaten the chicken and then pooed over it .
I guess that thd greaseproof paper was attractive to the cat !

I read that tea bags soaked in Eucalyptus oil stops them in their tracks. I suppose it would mean adding more oil to the bags when it had been raining.
