Reform UKâs Richard Tice allegedly failed to pay ÂŁ100,000 in corporation tax
OMG the Deputy PM looked a fright walking along Downing Street this afternoon.

She looks like she either has no bra on or a badly fitting one. Her boobs are almost down to the waistband of her trousers.
What merlotgran says is very true.

Itâs entirely possible to critique somebodyâs outfit without lapsing into personal insults about them. Some people have the manners to do that, and some donât is what it boils down to.
Spot on, Casdon.

A child is either legitimate or illegitimate, thereâs no such thing as âso-calledâ illegitimate.
Is there such a thing as illegitimate nowadays? A very large proportion of children are born "out of wedlock" but whose parents are in a long-term, long-lasting, committed relationahipe that, but for the marriage certificate, is marriage in all but name.

My mother always used to say, âYou are what you wear and youâre treated accordingly.â
She never wavered from that even on the day DD and I struggled to get her into smart burgundy trousers and matching blouse on the day she had a stroke. She refused to travel in the ambulance in her nightclothes.
By the time she left hospital they were calling her the Duchess! đ
I love this story merlotgran.
And what about kids in same sex "marriages"?

^Commenting on Sunak's trainers (or MF's donkey jacket, or BJ's tatty appearance) just doesn't compare in any way, and I can't believe people don't fully recognise that.^
Yes it does, reading most comments on this and other threads.
Nobody would say that a man's clothes signified his sexual proclivities. That is the difference.

I hoped that we had moved on from judging people on their fashion. These women are not working for Vogue.
I don't think we are judging her. We are judging her choice of clothing. It's probably a very nice suit; it just doesn't fit her. Like it or not, appearances do matter and she looks ridiculous. Whether she is or not ridiculous remains to be seen.

I really hope Angela Rayner turns out to be the best deputy PM this country has had, and an excellent support to the Prime Minister...to wipe the upper class superiority, smugness and nasty smirks from some peoples narrow minds.

Most people have not done that, merely commented on the ill-fitting trousers, yet are labelled misogynistic.

Possibly. But many men dressing 'as women' are heterosexual blokes who still want to have sex with women, so that's not cut and dried either. But there is enough unpleasantness on this thread without opening that can of worms.
She is a young woman dressing as young women prefer
Think AR should feel flattered to be called a âyoung womanâ- sheâs 44.
I would think of that as âmiddle agedâ.

And that (IMO) is fair enough. Commenting on clothes is ok, but suggesting that someone is a tart because of what they wear is entirely different.
Hi everyone, morning! Just a reminder to please keep posts related to the discussion on the thread. As always please do report anything you feel needs a look.

GSM 'In the absence of the PM she is in charge of the country'. That thought fills me with horror, can you imagine her and her ghastly trouser suit amongst the world leaders?
I could not imagine Angela Merkle in that colour or suit
Well said Doodledog and Casdon đđđ couldn't agree more.

Oh, I could. Well, the colour, certainly.
She always wore very bold colours as I recall.

You're right, doods, but I do get tired of disagreements of opinion being called "unpleasantness". Life would be very dull if everyone agreed on stuff. đ

To be fair, Angela Merkel was older and wore the same boring style of suit in different colours.
Iâm afraid I have to agree with Callistemon. I think there have been some very nasty comments in the past about Johnsonâs appearance, and it does compare with comments about Angela Raynerâs dress yesterday. There were also unkind comments about Michael Foot and the donkey jacket many years ago. Iâve also seen a comment about Margaret Thatcherâs clothes on this thread ((they werenât to my taste but they were entirely suitable for the situation) and Iâve seen comments about the price of Sunakâs trainers, which in actual fact is nothing to do with anyone except himself.

So did I, but sadly I now realise probably no one else did.
