Great service from NHS & GP surgery

This morning around I had cause to compile an online e consult with my surgery , I didn’t request a GP as it was a minor issue & thought a Nurse would suffice .
9:11am I received the email response
9:35am A GP called me & suggested I could go along to surgery & he would see me between scheduled appointments.& gave me the options of timings .
I was there within 40mins where he examined my ailing foot & sent prescription to pharmacy . Also advising an xray
10:57am I was at the drop-in centre & back home by 11:15am .
1:35pm I received the xray result via text .
I know there are lots of me moans about our surgeries but this must be one of the best !
The GP I saw was laid very dapper , in a smart tweed style 3 piece suit , tie & pocket chief . He also assessed me as I walked towards him saying ‘ I knew you by your gait’
It has been many years since I have seen him as luckily I am blessed with good health .
In another note , I couldn’t fill the prescription as none of the 3 chemists had the cream in stock .

I have an equally good gp service (and I have lots of health conditions.) Recently they speedily picked up a less than usual condition I had that without prompt treatment could have left me blind. They immediately started the correct treatment and I saw a specialist within the week who confirmed my diagnosis and continued treatment in partnership with the GP.

Great service, absolutely!
I wrote recently on a thread where posters were experiencing difficulties accessing their gp. I very rarely need an appointment.
I had a troublesome tummy pain that wouldn't go away after several weeks. Popped along to our surgery at 8 am Thursday, managed to get an appointment for 9.15 am, bloods taken. Doctor phoned me this morning, a Saturday!!, prescription for antibiotics sent to local Boots to collect in one hour.
Today, Monday, I received a text from the doctor hoping I was feeling better and saying it would be sensible to do another blood test in 2 weeks. All booked.
I'm either at death's door, or just very very lucky with the ease with which I got seen.

That is good service , hopefully all will be ok 👌
Though do you think that it depends on whichever GP you see or in my case today the one who it was allocated to ?
