I’m not referring to the Always pads advert for bladder leaks 😂 but being able to move on/put it behind you when you realise you’ve done something silly.
A few days ago I went to the Range to buy some gardening stuff and as it started to rain quite heavily when I got home I left the bag in the boot of the car and made a dash for the door.
I didn’t bother getting it in until the following afternoon and that’s when I realised I must have left the tomato feed and the houseplant spray bottle at the checkout and they were the things I actually went for in the first place. If only I’d unpacked the shopping immediately there would have been time to nip back and hopefully claim them.
I’m so cross with myself for not paying proper attention at the checkout and I know it’s not the end of the world as was not really much money to waste. I’m also cross with the checkout girl for not calling me back as there was nobody else behind me so she must have noticed.
Are you one of those who can just shrug and move on or are you harder on yourself than others?
And I won’t be telling DD or she’ll think it’s the start of the slippery slope! 😂
Angela Rayner is a scrounger, grifter and shameless hypocrite.
