Listening to radio this morning I heard that tickets for Oasis concert at Wembley where over 400.00 each!!! This is without hotel, travel and catering costs on the day 🙈🙈🙈

That's proper, legitimate tickets.

Some people were paying thousands of £s for tickets on suspect websites.

I would expect some will have been bought as corporate seating and they'll pay heavily for them. Many fans won't have the silly money for tickets

We are celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary at our party this Saturday night and I will ask the DJ to play some Oasis songs. We live in Manchester so I bet there will be many rousing renditions!

It will be amazing MissAdventure, my son and daughter are both super fans, and we’ve been talking for years about selling our souls to go if they ever reformed. We’re going to Cardiff, on the second night of the tour and the roof of the stadium will definitely be raised, Welsh fans sing the loudest and best, so it will be a brilliant night - only 10 months to wait.

There is plenty of money- especially if you are an Oasis fan I believe. There is also a lot of trust in the concerts going ahead a year from now. Maybe its me that's missing something here?

They started at £70 ish in Manchester.
They will inevitably go up and up.

If they are die hard fans they will beg steal or borrow to raise the cash, doesn’t mean they will then have enough money to pay their bills.
Might be irresponsible but tbh everyone deserves a good time occasionally. Life is too short.

The more people that are in queues/trying to purchase the price goes up!

The prices were inflated by Ticketmaster during the selling process, that’s what the fuss is all about, rather than the original ticket prices. I’m really excited because I’m going, my daughter was extremely lucky in the ticket purchasing lottery, and secured (seated) tickets for us at £205 each, which was the advertised price (Gigs and Tours website). If you love a band, the going rate for tickets for big names is always in that region. People choose to spend their money in different ways, and I can’t think of a much more enjoyable way of spending mine than seeing great acts live, whoever they are - but I know, we’re all different.

They'll sell for much more than that, I expect.
Different people have different priorities, hence a thread a whole ago about fine dining.

If I was well, I would always go to a gig rather than a restaurant, or even a holiday.

Travelsafar I know that young people request tickets to concerts as birthday or Christmas presents. They also save smaller monetary gifts towards these concerts.

The lowest price was £100 the £400 + ones are standing tickets which the youngsters want as it enables them to get down to the front if they are lucky.

I suppose it’s all down to one’s priorities.

I have paid £’s for concert tickets over the years, didn’t fancy seeing Oasis.

It is as it has always been. Some people hve money and some do not. Some think a ticket to hear Oasis something worth mortgaging their house to buy. Others wouldn't have a ticket if they were paid generously to have it.
