I saw my first episode of the Sister Boniface Mysteries and absolutely loved it. Whilst very twee and a mixture of Father Brown/Midsommer Murders/Grantchester/Miss Marple/Call the Midwife, I just loved the innocence of a bygone era and the comedic execution. Most dramas I don't watch anymore as they are way to complex for my poor little brain, but I just loved it.

I enjoy watching it.Whether it is realistic on not,it's just lightness entertainment.

Your summing up is really good. Some of the occurrences, especially when she goes off into a trance are ridiculous, but funny because of that.
The weird bits made me think of Soap with its catchphrase of confused? You won’t be! or it may even have been you will be.

Mollygo, I used to love Soap. The catchphrase was "confused, you will be".

I enjoy it too. It doesn’t take itself too seriously. I definitely prefer it to Father Brown. I love cosy crime and Shakespeare and Hathaway is another favourite.

Allira

We like McDonald and Dodds which is set in Bath.

Thanks for that recommendation Allira.
Just watching series 1 episode 1.
Misogyny, ageism and snobbery so far, random knowledge about a variety of useful things providing links and Wolfie from Citizen Smith.
Excellent start.
