that’s a good idea, but the government would have to tackle the energy companies.
They are a much more difficult target than pensioners and have the power to resist having their money taken away from them.
I think you are correct Mollygo they do seem very unwilling to suggest that the companies making huge profits should perhaps chip in a bit more towards the well being of the nation.
Still, as long as the bankers don't have to have their bonuses capped we elderly will have to take one for the team.
I have heard though, that thankfully, they are not going to do away with the council tax discount for single householders, so that is something.
