Queen and Prince Phillip Statues

I don't think the statue looks like the Queen. You can tell who they are because of the corgis.

They are awful. It doesn’t capture the essence of them at all.

It is a horrible statue not at all representative of the Queen or Prince Philip.

I don't remember either of them looking like that, ever.

The postures are vaguely like them, but the facial features are miles off.

They look almost cartoon like, but perhaps that's intentional.

Probably in a 100 years someone will pull them down and say they were oppressive, no worries.

His name is Philip. One L. Not Phillip.

The statue of him isn’t too bad, but the one of the Queen is terrible. Unrecognisable apart from the handbag and the corgis.

I did recognise the corgis, otherwise, I would never have realised who they were.

It bears no facial resemblance to the late queen, the clothing could be Barbara Woodhouse or indeed anyone of “that ilk” and Philips stature is just all wrong. Imo

I think they are really awful. They would probably both laugh their heads off if they could see it. They have no redeeming qualities, the artist should be locked in the Tower.

Not a good likeness of either of them. Even the corgis don't look quite right.

Her late majesty appears to be wearing a bullet proof vest.

Nothing like the late Queen and she appears to be holding her arm as if it is paralysed .
The stance of Prince Philip is correct , but nothing else is .
I don't like the artist 's statues of George Best either .
He seems so wooden .

Dreadful. Nothing like our late Queen or Price Philip. The only thing the sculptor got right were the corgis.

The faces are not accurate, but Prince Phillip's stance is spot on and obviously the late Queens head scarf was her popular headcovering..

To give them the benefit of the doubt, maybe they don't photograph well and look better in real life.

I don’t like them. However, I do agree that the artist has got the stance of Prince Philip right. In terms of physical likeness, not so much, for either of them.

They are horrible statues…..
