His security can't be very efficient.

Probably was real, if the FBI thinks so, but the previous attempt did give his ratings a boost & it all seems a bit vague.

An assassination attempt has been confirmed, so....

"Former President Donald Trump is safe following an apparent assassination attempt at his Florida golf course, and a "potential suspect" is in custody, US authorities have confirmed.

Secret Service agents spotted the barrel of a rifle poking through some bushes and opened fire at him, officials said.

The FBI said Trump was 300-500 yards (275 to 455m) away at the time.

An AK47-style firearm and scope, along with two backpacks and a GoPro camera, were later found at the scene.

A witness reported seeing the suspect running from some bushes and jumping into a black Nissan car after the agents had fired at him multiple times"

How funny this election is not going as smoothly as the one in 2016 and his life has been in "danger" twice already?

I’m glad they caught him, they did a better security job than last time. Whether you support him or not,no one should be subject to this. Too many guns,too many nutjobs in that country.

I am beginning to doubt that Trump can be kept safe. I think he should step down if he wants a longer life and even then, he will still be at risk imo.

I’m in two minds here, Trump is such a deluded human I could well believe this is set up, but then again somebody died in the last attempt.

I’ll be so glad when this flipping election is over and pray that Trump doesn’t become POTUS again!

The security had no choice, the suspect was filmed by a witness and the car number known. And the suspect did nothing to get them to kill him.
The media is already asking how he knew Trump would be at the golfcourse when it was a 'last minute decision'

The FBI are apparently always "one hole ahead" checking the course and environment as he plays. It was also the FBI who caught the suspect.

It doesn’t make sense to me. Secret Service are expert marksmen, from what I’ve read. How did the miss shooting a guy in a tree? The report I saw said that there had been at least one shot fired at the suspect
