Another assassination attempt on Trump

Unfortunately the last thing we want is Trump assassinated. Trump as President is bad enough, Trump as a martyr would just be horrific.

What I will never understand is why a convicted felon can lose the right to vite in the US but a convicted felon can still run for president?

By that I mean, he did not fire, so it comes down to intention?

But the man held currently on gun ownership charges has not been charged with further offences.

No, of course it won't, if Trump had his way it would just mean more people being given he right to carry guns.

All of the US presidential hopefuls give me the heeby-jeebies = can't stand any of them. But, if we've now got up to the 3rd attempt = time for someone to be "Asking Questions" about just who hates democracy so much that they're trying to subvert it. Well they all try and subvert it - but this is so blatant.

I think these 2 attempts on an elderly man's life are disgusting. Whatever you think of Trump, and tbh I don't like him or his policies, he doesn't deserve this. It's a wonder at his age that he hasn't had a heart attack or stroke from the stress of these attacks. Terrible thing to do and I hope the perpetrator is jailed for a very long time.

Agree and Biden is trying to get us to provide long range missiles to Ukraine, to hit Russia, what the hell . Why don't they do it. No the UK is being used as the lap dog of an American president again, and Starmer is falling for it just like Blair did.

Biden has most definitely not agreed and is in fact was the most unwilling in recent discussions - whether its internal US politics just before an election or a determined policy is anyones guess. The Storm Shadow missiles rely partly on US navigational technology.

Why is it a news event? FBI found the man during a routine sweep of each hole on the golf course ahead of Trump playing it. Isn't that what they are meant to do?

The news event would be, if they hadn't done the sweep and the potential assassin, succeeded in firing shots at Trump, successful or not.
