Welcome!
Thank you for all your support, especially of late. I greatly appreciate your patience. You are truly the best.
Buffet is open. For those who enjoy a glass of bubbly, there is plenty in the chill cabinet.
Enjoy!
I must away for a wee while. I shall catch up later.

Please my I join the group hug? Like kittyl - both giving and receiving.
Hugs on their way!
Hello everyone. My operation apparently went well. I’ll be allowed up tomorrow, as no physios around to help the evening!
Thank you everyone for your good wishes and prayers.
Good to hear Redcar a big, gentle hug to you x
Best wishes to the poorlies.
Can I join in the group hug please. Then a spot in the quiet corner would be good.
It’s been one of those days.
Good to hear from you Redcar. I'm glad it went well.
I made a lovely salad tonight. New potatoes, celery, apple, cucumber, tomato and spring onion in a tangy dressing with lettuce, olives, feta and quiche. Leftovers for tomorrow. Dd popped in with dgs2 after playgroup for soup and then a lazy afternoon when they left. Tomorrow I need to buy a blender and then put everything together for Christmas puddings. The boys are coming on Sunday morning so they can help me stir the mixture. Life is quiet. My best to you all
Good to hear from you Redcar, thank you for your update, so pleased all went well. Time to rest and recover now, I hope you manage to get some sleep x
FGT sending a hug. It’s a worry but I hope all will be well. Waiting is so hard. Thinking of you both.
Sending a big hug to all the Kitcheners who need one. NannyG4 yes I miss the hugs and cuddles too.
Sorry for all those with health issues and worries. Soop hope Mr Soop gets home safely soon x
Glad the surgery went well, Redcar, you just need time to heal now.🥰
Not long home, we picked up the Wee Boy from school, played until Mummy and Daddy finished work, when we all enjoyed pizza. Today we built a dinosaur 🦕 den, involving several cuddly toys, plastic animals, plus lots of cushions and throws. Great fun! 🤣
Settling down in front of the TV 📺 with a nice glass of SB and Netfix's new series of The Day of the Jackal. I'm hooked already!
Wishing everyone a peaceful Friday evening and a good night's sleep, TOYA, NNGB.
Happy new car, 🚙*Ladyleftfieldlover*!
Sorry I couldn't find a green one.
Good wishes to Redcar it’s upwards all the way now.
Same good wishes go to everyone who needs them, these are anxious days.
My Gd had a wonderful time in Grasmere, they want to live there!!!
Good to hear from you redcar onwards and upwards 👍🏻
FGT 😘
There is nothing like a hug is there? Given and received with love and healing and reassuring in equal measure. NannyG4 and Doodle...there is always a hug on offer whenever you need it. Grannyme6 and Mrshat...lots of hugs to go round. X
Soop...Love and thoughts and prayers winging their way to you.
GrandmaB...that supper sounded lush.
UTBB... Lovely to hear that your DGD has had a good time in the Lake District from what you've said live hasn't always easy for her. Thank Goodness you have given her stability and love. May her romance continue to flourish.
Redcar...well done on posting so quickly..it's fabulous to hear you are out the other side. Hopefully they will time your meds so that when you start physio tomorrow you'll be well dosed up.
FGT...as before we are all here for you. Offload whenever you want to...I hope you can enjoy the rest of your break with your man.
LlFL...a new green car... What make did you go for...a sporty number?
Granmarie...a dinosaur den is just so much fun...did you have to get in too? A well deserved SB by the sound of it.
We are in Henrietta Moho tonight. Visiting DH parents near Portsmouth. His sister and family are here too so we offered to stay in Henrietta. I've got the double bed at the back currently sharing with the two smaller dogs and DH has the double above the front seats. Despite not liking sleeping apart this is the best arrangement. The large dog ( small pony) is indoors.
Have a peaceful night everyone.
Good news redcar. Thank you for letting us know.
Goodnight everyone.
Redcar Three hearty cheers and good wishes galore.
NannyG4 Come and sit with me in the quiet corner. We'll keep each other company as often as you wish.
Grannyme6 FGT2 There are hugs to spare. Although I am not as active in our kitchen as I would like to be...all of you are never far from my thoughts.
Had very little sleep last night but a nap this afternoon. Due to my reaction to OxyContin last year, I’m not allowed it now. The pharmacist is trying every drug on the shelves to to find a suitable substitute this year, so far with little success. I know the pain will ease eventually, but the exercises are challenging! And so is walking. I doubt I’ll be home tomorrow, but am being well looked after here. Thank you everyone for your good wishes.
‘Evening All’.
It’s been a glorious day and the garden bar opened at 1pm! It’s still busy now as it’s not dark here yet, at almost 6:30pm. We went down at 3pm for a drink to ‘support our local’, taking our Kindles. I took this photo.
We commented how lush the grass looks after all the summer visitors. Heavy rain last week before we arrived and some sunny afternoons have let nature work its magic of renewal.
It was funny watching the half dozen Spanish children playing out in what is essentially their back garden! Imagine having all this space to run, play hide and seek and throw frisbees. Lucky them, safe too in the walled area. Don’t the mountains in the background look beautiful? I’m so delighted they are there as a backdrop not just flat outside the front door. I do love it here. I never get tired of coming out.
Good afternoon, Soop and lovely Kitchen people. Dear Soop, I'm thinking of you and your wonderful man, hoping and praying that you are reunited soon. 💕
It's very early days, Redcar, you've only just had major surgery, don't expect too much too soon! Rest as much as possible, conserve your strength for getting mobile again. One day at a time. Hope they get your pain relief sorted ASAP.
Enjoy your visit with your new in- laws, Neine, good job you've got the cosy Mo-Ho, it sounds like a very busy house!
We've just had a wee visit from DS2 and the Wee Boy, his Mummy is away to the theatre with her girlfriends. He had a bowl of Gran's lentil soup, then played well with the toys I keep here. Now that he's at school we are more often over at theirs, so he hasn't played here since the summer. It was like Christmas when he saw his toys!
Home made steak pie for dinner tonight, we're expecting DS3 to join us shortly.
Wishing everyone a peaceful Saturday evening, TOYA.
I am all ready to go out for a meal with my GD for her b’day.
Her boyfriend, well man friend really, is a devoted football fan so has gone to the match.
We are eating at 6:30 so not a late one, my GD doesn’t drink so no need for taxis so much better than relying on them as my friend and I do.
I shall think of all of you who can’t get out at the moment, I was there for a long time.
I came home from hospital with my Dh last night. He’s a bit sore and bruised and his autoimmune arthritis has flared up but he’s doing ok. Also very happy to sleep in his own bed last night!
Dd1 had paid us a visit (sans bouncy GC!) and brought us edible treats, which was so sweet of her.
TOYA. Xxx
