Kate and Kitty I had posted about FGT's news before your posts came up. I am so pleased for you both too and wish you the happiest of times this Christmas...
Wonderful news from FGT , Kate and Kitty .We have had snow it looked like wonderland when we went to bed but after a tough night with oh vomiting all through the night 😓
Kate1949 I am delighted that you too have had some uplifting news.
Our kitchen is in celebration mode. Hugs all round.
Mr Soop is away on the long bus ride to see the surgeon tomorrow. The wound will take up to eight weeks to correct itself. In February, all being well, the surgeon will perform a second skin graft.
In the event that the surgeon that I saw recently decides that he can fix my parastomal hernia, he advised me to try to improve my fitness. I therefore ride the bike to no-place twice daily. Thirty mins in the morning and same again early afternoon.
Now it is time for a friendly game of Scrabble. Exercise for the grey matter.
Hoping MrSoops appointment goes well tomorrow Soop lots of travelling for you both recently, take care and keep safe and warm ❤️ It’s snowing up here in Inverness and settling on the ground. Tomorrow might be tricky travel wise as it’s forecast to be really cold overnight. Meanwhile it’s lovely to be in this cosy warm kitchen in front of the fire sharing stories with friends
Let’s hope so for you soop good luck tou your Mr tomorrow, safe journey. Hair cut today, a good 4” off, a bit draughty on the neck, warm scarf was deployed! Oh lucky you brook, wet here today, dull and cold, only domestic chores done and online grocery orders tweaked. Enjoy your evening all.
Wishing MrSoop well for his journey and appointment tomorrow. Soop, you are most disciplined about your exercise routine, you're an inspiration! I've been a bit lazy with my physio recently but I did visit the pool in our hotel yesterday afternoon and had it all to myself at one point! So I certainly worked through my ' repertoire.' 🤣 The hotel was festively decorated, I'll try to post a photo of the tree in reception. Today, after a full Scottish breakfast, we drove along to Prestwick where the shops had beautiful Christmassy window displays, even the barber's and estate agents'! The photos show Ailsa Craig and Arran from Prestwick shore. Very cold today, hard frost this morning. Relaxing at home now after a nice wee break, uplifted by the good news in our special Kitchen. Wishing Grandmabatty's wee grandson a very happy 3rd birthday, a wonderful age! 🥰 TOYA
We’ve had a very lazy, cosy day of hunkering down. Reading and binge watching drama for me, crossword and films (yes, pleural!) for Himself. And why not? It was an emotional afternoon yesterday and I think, although wonderful news, we both feel somewhat exhausted mentally today. I’m about to make mugs of Horlicks for us both. We won’t be late to bed.
Thank you Grannmarie. Your photos are lovely. Very seasonal. By all accounts, he's had a good day. Still not eating much but tonight he sleeps in beside his big brother at his other gran's house. Both boys are excited. I've come to bed and I'm cosy. Good night all
I listened to two excellent lectures from the V&A today on Art History. I had a quick lunch and then drove to a friend’s house. At least the snow had melted.
