Good Morning Sunday 3rd November 2024

Good morning from Durham. A bit sad today - it would have been DH’s 74th birthday today. He’s missed so much, especially the birth of a DGS to (disabled) DD2. That bloody circle of life!

Mick, Mick, Mick!. FGT2, MD and others have echoed my thoughts. Why don’t you listen/act?????

Can’t decide what to do today. Probably a bit in the garden, as DGS2 was here yesterday and all his ‘stuff’ is to go back into the shed. More leaves too, then might reward myself with coffee and cake somewhere. The local cricket club had a laser light display last night, easily visible, so we stood outside and watched a bit of that as DD2 was leaving.

Good morning all,
A dull day once more - it never got light yesterday and it’s looking similar today. I really dislike this kind of day, much prefer the crisp, bright days.

I agree with others regarding Mick, and wish he would seek medical advice. However, he seems reluctant to do so for some reason, and I also doubt he reads many posts after his own (but I could be very wrong, of course). At the end of the day, the decision rests with him.

A quiet day in store, I think, though we might pop out for a sandwich at lunch time if we feel like going - this grey weather seems to drain my enthusiasm, but I’ll give myself a shake and make the effort.
